Who is the most famous person you've ever met? What were the circumstances?

The most famous person I have ever met was wowOwow’s own Lily Tomlin…..at a family reunion. She was gracious and welcoming and so comfortable to be around. I was in awe of her and still am. Love you Lily!

Here Comes the Bride; Where Is Her Dress?

Thank you for reminding me of that memory of shopping for the special dress with my mother. In taking care of the daily things over the years, those sweet memories sometimes get moved to the wayside. I’ll smile all day because of your post Ms. Martin.

Who is the biggest pig?

I had to go with Clinton this time…..was remembering the cigar and getting “too much information” from the media on his shenanigans.

Too Close for Comfort?

Tammy……I’m in the south, I don’t think they ever went away here! I grew up outside of Detroit and I don’t know if the ones I went to growing up are still there or not. There were a couple on 8 Mile Rd. We have a few here in Tennessee and I have been to a couple in Alabama. Love them!

Too Close for Comfort?

I love Joan’s idea for the movie theatre to start coughing……haha! I get very uncomfortable having to share my armrest with strangers. I will find a drive-in movie to watch my film of choice rather than sitting in a theatre if possible. Is it an age thing? I am getting worse about it as I get older. If I have to go to a theatre I try to be just a tad late and find some seats that are off to themselves with no one close by. There must be a phobia name for this…LOL Thanks for sharing this conversation…I thoroughly enjoyed.

Life in the Little Lane: Edith Ann on the Falling Dollar

Edith you sure have BIG thoughts for such a little girl………just run down the hall to Aunt Pearl’s, I bet she has some marshmallows for you, probably some graham crackers too! If you give her a hug, a good possiblity she would even make your snack while you tell her your woes about the dollar and euros. HA! And that’s the truth!

Should Silda Spitzer stand by her man?

My heart goes out to Mrs. Spitzer and to her children. I don’t know what the reasons were that prompted her to stand there next to him during his announcement, but the public humiliation he dumped on his family would be unforgiveable in my opinion. What people do in private is their business, but in his business as Governor, he knows that every move he makes is scrutinized and should have had enough respect for his family to keep his “private” business private. This is the price one pays for a public life, everyone watching, sounds to me like he is self-centered and his family is paying for his actions. Wondering now if the citizens of New York paid for his self-gratification and the ruining of a family. Whether Mrs. Spitzer stays or leaves, her choice.
