There has been more activism from the right on the Supreme Court than could ever have been imagined.  Remember electing George Bush to the White House?   This wasn’t social activism?   Your comment was right on target.

Let’s face it you are a mean Clinton hater and you and the Deber/Kelly connection just can’t help venting. Even when it’s meaningless.  You are totally predictable and loathsome.

It takes pretty empty lives to ponder about the Clinton’s when our country is facing huge challenges and so many of our fellow americans are suffering.  I am sure if we mind our business and pay attention to stuff we can help correct or change, we will all benefit. There is nothing more pointless or unsatisfying than wondering and fantasizing about someone else’s marriage.  This is mostly boring conjecture and mean spirited gossip when we need to pay attention. You state "many reversals" for Sotomayor. Actually, I believe three out of hundreds of opinions, and actually Alito has almost 100% reversal record.  It would be good if you’d specify exactly what these reversals were with specificity.  Clarence Thomas had scant expereince for the court, and you’re telling us he wasn’t picked for political reasons?  Sotomayor is a highly qualified judge with wide experience in law enforcement, private practice, & extensive [11yrs] on Appellate court.

Right on! Cheney’s manipulations are a set up to cover his butt if another attack [not unthinkable] occurs.

Control through fear mongering and war mongering are old stories throughout history. He hopes to paralyze questioning of the most lawless and incompetent adminsitration in our history by spreading fear and terror.  And oh yes…this Uber Patriot got 5 deferments to avoid military service, and his hyper patriotic daughters have not spent any military time either.

The double CIA/Cheney bookkeeping of Intelligence proved to be wrong,wrong,wrong. We now have to listen to nonesense about the CIA and how it doesn’t lie.  Is there a grownup around who cannot remember countless lies and coverups by the CIA?

Did Cheney,Bush & Co keep us safe after being warned that Bin Laden presented an imminent threat?  The failure to respond to the Nat’l Security Estimates was dereliction of duty & incompetence ,and by not following  up allowed  the Pres. &  the FBI and CIA failures that led to an attack that could have been averted.  The head of Security at the WTC had given several strong warnings that an attack was a real and present danger. But Bushco was in denial along with Rice and Cheney [our protector].

So now the FearMeister in chief, Dick Cheney spreads poison and fear to justify the Iraq war which has not made us safer. Afghanistan is now a more dangerous mess than ever. We all know that an attack on the US most probably at some time can happen. Cheney’s strategy is to cover his butt, and lay the groundwork for saying, "I told you Obama was weak on National Defense and terrorism. Just like all those socialist democrats".  See?

Spreading his usual pile of fear and loathing is the Cheney mantra, flogged on by Lynne and mentored by daughter, this 5 time deferrment seeking Cheney has the stones to talk about Uberpatriotism? Neither has either daughter put in any military time. This soldier of doom,torture,murder,war, and er…national security decided not to go to a single military call for duty. 

We all know that the incompetence from the Bush government has led to disaster in all aspects, plus the derailment of our financial system which they have blindly allowed to run amok without safeguards or regulation,restraints, or the rule of law.

Hitler and Stalin knew that when people are hurting,broke and angry, the best way to seize power and control is to slog FEAR. It is also a superb tool in hiding incompetence and blame placing.

 

 

 

 

In 2005 I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer consisting of 2 invasive tumors in my left breast. An MRI and surgical biop confirmed this mamogram diagnosis, & also found pre cancer lobular and ductal in my right breast. I opted for a bi-lateral mastectomy, and lymph node removal on left breast side.

Of course I miss my breasts for many reasons other than pure vanity, and I’ve developed lymphedema as a result of lymph node removal. Am I happy about this? No. But and it’s a big but..I opted to stay alive.

All of it is worth it, and I understand your struggle,pain,disruption, and all that it implies.  It takes courage and you certainly have it. Besides complaing about your treatment is a good thing as it allows you to blow off steam and vent.  You will survive and am sure be cancer free. Today I am cancer free and that is all that matters at the end of this journey.

The entire MedicARE RX program was passed in the dark of night by GOP led by  Tom Delay with help from Tauzin [a Democrat who wound up working for healthcare co. for millions].

The inability for Medicare to negotiate on wholesale level for drugs for seniors guaranteed that INSURANCE cOMPANIES had the GOP in their pocket along with a few corrupt democrats.

This went to THREE VOTES AFTER Midnight and was shooed in. A total disgrace and all part of the corrupt,uncaring Bush/Cheney administration goals to derail Medicare entirely, and place drug insurance into the hands of a pack of theives who have bilked seniors.  Of course Bush was also gunning openly to destroy Social Security, but no one bought it.  I cannot remember any administration in my lifetime as evil as this past one. 

Regarding secrecy and shredding, removal of emails and such, just Google for info on Cheney. A Consitution and rule of law buster and there’s lots of proof.  Thousands of emails disappeared, among other vital info.  Obama has removed exactly WHAT? and WHERE, WHEN, & HOW?  Obviously you admire Cheney & Co.   Very sad.

I  ask you to read the constitution and have a legal scholar interpret Patriot Act, Torture, Lying us into war, and dozens of other "shreddings" of constitutional rights.   Our country’s financial system was broken by total laxity of regulation, and over trillions in debt, government depts understaffed and corrupt [Fema, SEC, etc].  Our lives are being changed as a result of the past 8 years of an irresponsible and criminally negligent administration. Screwing up Afghanistan is only a small part of the mess they left. You are obviously blind to the horrors created by Bush/Cheney et al, and there is no way anyone will buy your trying to place blame on current administration.  Wall Street has been unregulated and out of control along with illegal off shore Hedge Funds and other theives encouraged by our past administration that led to our financial meltdown. Many of us saw derivatives of credit swaps and sub primes looming as a disaster, but NOTHING was done. You can cheerlead all you want, but the people are on to you now, and you speak to the choir.

Add to your post… Haliburton and the soldiers of fortune that Cheney ordered  were war profiteering, and his connections with the suppliers is obvious.   Corruption was rampant. Bremmer was running riot and demolishing the Iraqi military and misappropriating billions of "lost" money.  This appointed Viceroy of Iraq screwed up monumentally and corruption became commonplace.  Cheney is a war criminal pure and simple. He has a right to spew under free speech, but that he is still free is a wonderment.    Our country is loaded with corruption,theives, a flawed political and legal system, and Dick Cheney raves on without being held responsible. Just thinking about oil is sickening. Seeking the Euro as you correctly point out was but one of the reasons for lying our way into Iraq.    Iraq is being run by he oil cartel. Lynne and Liz Cheney are known idealogues who have aggressively and combatively defended Cheney for all the reasons you outline and are emboldened because they know there are no consequences for their actions.  But I do believe that most Americans know how out of touch and corrupt Cheney is.

 

 

 

  I posed nude to put myself through school by posing at the Art Student’s League life classes, and for some well known painters. I needed the money and my body was up to the task.

Currently am too old for such enterprises, and I don’t need the money. Also holding a pose for 20 minutes at a time for several hours [except for a few short breaks], is hard work.  And very boring.

 

 

I predict this will backfire on Trump. This is  phony all around and Annie Dukes showed stamina, smarts, and class. Suddenly it’s bad to be a ruthless competitor?  Of course Trump doesn’t strategize to win?  This was the worst insult to the intelligence of the adults in the audience.

Frankly I got so turned off by Joan Drama Queen and her atrocious behavior and her absurdly emotional daughter that I won’t ever watch this show again.  Annie got ripped off by this obvious setup as she was clearly smarter and more capable all around.  This was a debacle. Trump was  kinda dumb to think the public would condone Joan & daughter’s ugly behavior, and approve of his punishing the clearly superior competitor…Annie Dukes.   This was one ugly scene.
