marjorie…im going to go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out on a limb here and agree totally with what i percieve st. augustine as saying…i have believed from the time i was a child that one’s soul, spirit, essence, life force, enters the biological entity, i.e. ‘baby’ just before or at the time of birth…i have lived 61 years, and watched the theological, legal, moral ideology go back and forth endlessly on this discussion…just fascinates me how much the sway of mortal mens minds (not the teachings of our ‘creators’) influences life and death decisions…..based on that belief, a woman SHOULD/MUST HAVE the choice as to what to do with her own body…i always wonder…is it moral, ethical to keep a ‘baby’ that is the result of rape…that is known to have congenital defects…what RIGHT do men have to make these decisions…is a baby born in any condition a mandated show of their masculinity????ok..i’ll stop now, because i could literally write a doctoral thesis on this before i stopped..

marjorie..i am reeeally beginning to wonder about all the ‘knotheads’ who just wont accept the fact that NOT everybody likes o-bama-babe-in-the-woods, and yet insist on yelling, screaming, trying to point out all the ‘goodness’ he would bring into our lives, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseum…wish they would GET OVER IT and leave us independent/ democratic/ THINKERS alone….
