That was an unbelievable episode. It was supposed to be a Halloween broadcast, but many people thought it was for real and panicked. Older people still talk about the exprience.

I think most communication that isn’t face to face is different. I suspect that it is easier to communicate over the Internet,  for that matter texting. One can say, or be, whatever one wants, at the moment. There is no body language, no facial expression to worry about. The anonymity these faceless connections seem to give, lead to the illusion of freedom and possibilities that don’t exist in face to face contact.

Fox is not the only one. CNN is now following in their footsteps and let’s not forget the radio and Limbaugh

Unfortunately the picture the bible  portrays of heaven, isn’t appealing. It sounds cold and glitzy. The things that I like most in life, trees, animals, the ocean seem to be totally absent. Instead there are pearly gates. Doesn’t sound like my cup of tea. No, I do not believe in heaven as described in the bible. I do hope for an afterlife, though I doubt it exists

The perfect male companion would be the current husband. Why do I have the feeling that he doesn’t go to these affairs? Isn’t he invited or is he to weak to defend her?

It amazes me how so many will remember the negatives and ignore the positives. Yes, in his youth, Senator Kennedy did some despicable things but he has certainly atoned for these in many positive ways. As for living off the public dole, that must be a joke, because nothing could be further from the truth

Yes, we have come a long way. Nevertheless, the suicide rate among young homosexuals is by far greater then among other youth  groups. We have not come far enough as yet.
