I feel so connected to the first letter because I recently had trouble with a mother in law who is controlling, manipulative, a liar, a thief and a con artist! She waited until we had time alone to pick little fights with me and then when i finally lost it and told her to calm down and stop yelling at me, she screamed like a maniac in front of my baby!!!She then flew off the handle and took a taxi to the airport and left then blamed me for her leaving! I don’t want her back in my home because I don’t want her nasty hateful attitude to rub off on my child. I just don’t understand, Her son, my hubby, is the most patient, honest and caring man I have ever met. I chalk it up to the universe trying to balance itself out. I do not ever want that woman around me EVER again.

I know it seems stupid to Americans but she is only showing respect for a country and its culture. Just like when I visited the royal palace in Bangkok, Thailand I was asked to wear long sleeves with a high neck and a long skirt. I was even given a skirt to borrow because I didn’t pack anything but pants and shorts. Just like when they wouldn’t let my husband into a restaurant in New Orleans because he was wearing a tank top. There are dress codes in a lot of places. This doesn’t mean you should bash the person who is conforming but realize the culture of the place dictates it. I can’t believe that this "culture of bitches" in this country would slam another woman for simply being thoughtful of another culture.

I saw one comment about how weed shouldn’t be on the earth???? Well, it is, GOD MADE IT. He intends for us to use it!

In 1994 I moved to South Lake Tahoe. I’ve since moved a lot of other places but still one of the best friends I have ever had still lives in South Lake. I remember meeting her daughter and her telling me that her dear friend Jaycee had been kidnapped. She and alot of other kids in that community were left so scared from this. My friend’s daughter was the first person to tell me yesterday that Jaycee had been found and we were all so happy. I had met Jaycee’s mom before she moved to Southern California. Poor lady, I felt so sad for her and now I feel elated that she gets to have her little girl come home to her. Thank you GOD! Miracles can happen.

Letter 1, That was GREAT ADVICE! I was thinking the same thing as I read the letter and I remembered the class at my local JC that has you take all these personality tests and you do excercises to discover things like what your values are. It was so much fun and exciting to see how different we all are. Kudos!

HEY!!! Lay off of Jon and Kate! They have A LOT more work than any of you. Maybe you are just jealous that they have been pitied and given some things that maybe they couldn’t have afforded otherwise. I think Nadya Suleman is an irresponsible idealistic nut job who is going to have to rely on a lot of other people to help her, that is if she doesn’t lose her parental rights all together!
