In Greece the male and female surnames are different. The man is called "Mr. Brown" the woman "Ms. Browns" … lol And I man it is "Sara Browns" on your passport.

Personally, I think my name identifies me. I’ve had it for 30 years and I’m keeping it after I get married. Would feel very weird changing it.

Answer to how does it make ME feel: Grossed out. Completely. Why? No reason, I just find it disgusting.

Answer to should women be allowed to breastfeed in public: Yeah, why not? As long as they don’t complain if I cringe and turn the other way they’re free to do what they want.

And with regard to doctors not finding out the woman was pregnant, that is still going on!  That is because women are not being listened to and are taught to ignore their own thoughts and feelings as unimportant.

I am still amazed at the number of doctors who will tell an ill woman to ‘relax’, ‘eat better’ or ‘stop imagining she is sick’. Has happened to me and my friends. Oh, correction … they didn’t tell me they told my bf ‘Dear Bob please know that Sara is not really sick, she just gets up in the morning and magically causes XYZ problem. Your loving doctor’

I smoke. And occasionally read books when stuck in traffic - not when the car is moving - gets me some angry drivers when I’m late putting the book down and moving another meter forward :P

Desperately need a pets and kids rant here since I’ve been boycotted by people with kids for having two cats. I know a lot of people who would have said ‘its just a kid, didn’t know its choking the dog. its a dog after all and its well right?’ now if the dog had as much as barked at the kid and it started crying … different story.

Put the kid down if he starts pulling hair? Take away the toy for a while if hes vigorously banging it on the floor? Don’t have any kids but those came in mind. Didn’t find the comment very worrisome myself, my best friend works with children and theres a lot of things she has mentioned about teaching them that I would have never thought about.

What is it with ‘best funeral’ and ‘places to go before you die’ in a row? ‘Places you definetely want to visit’? Something else? Sorry, news has been so glum lately this is not making my day.
