What SPF should I use?

Me too. I heard nothing past SPF 50 works though. Is that true?

How do I protect my hair from heat damage?

Yeah I blow dry my hair every day and it’s always breaking and I keep getting split ends. I would love a good product.

When should I start using anti-wrinkle cream?

Yeah but if you start too early is it possible for your skin to become immune and not work when you need it?

Sheila Nevins: 'I Really Didn't Know My Path' (Audio)

Shelia, you’re speech was so inspiring. Thank you for sharing that audio with us. I have struggled with finding my path too, as I think we all do, but you’re story of how it found you has given me true hope. It was fate or perhaps just dumb luck, that lead you to take that job in television but through your hard work you made it become this beautiful gift that we are so blessed that you share with the world. Thank you!

Want to Be a wowOwow Virtual Executive Intern? Here's How

wOw indeed! I saw you this morning on Fox and let me tell you, you looked beautiful! (As did all of the women!) I think this is a wonderful idea and I wish you all the best of luck with it! It sounds like the best of best worlds where you’re all learning so many amazing life and work skills from each other. Again good luck! I can’t wait to see where ThinkUp goes from here!

Talk to Tom Brokaw! The Author of Boom! Takes Questions From Our Readers

Tom - What was your favorite Vice Presidential interview of all time and why?

If you were Louise, who would your Thelma be and why? Tell us in honor of Susan Sarandon's birthday

With no thought or question it would be my Sarah. We say we’ve been friend’s since the womb but it’s more then that. We are soul mates in the truest sense of the word, two souls who have known each other forever and who continue to live lives together because they still have so much to learn from each other, and one without the other isn’t whole. She’d get Brad Pitt, (although after much insistence that she really wasn’t interested) and I’d be the one who would talk us out of the cliff end. But even if we made it off that cliff it wouldn’t be long before our souls were back in action having fun and causing trouble.

The Emmys are on Sunday. What is your favorite part of the ceremony?

I think the best part of any award show is right before they announce the winner. They have just shown all of the nominees in their various roles and everyone can still have their preference and their opinion of who is the best and who should win. The air is heavy with anticipation, you can feel the room hold its breath and then an eruption of applause, no matter who it is that won. It is that moment where anything is possible that I love.

Cloris Leachman Steals the Show at Roast of Bob Saget

ok so I know I’m about a week late on this thread but I just have to say, Frank if you like the movie you’ll love the show. Some of your favorite lines that you just quoted above are songs. “Roll in Ze Hay’ being one of my favorite songs of the show. If you get a chance you should check it out, and if not at least download some of the music. I think you’d enjoy!

Do you have a tattoo?

I just got my first one in April. I love it. It is very classy as many people keep telling me. It’s on the outside of my left foot and it’s just words. I completely understand why people say they are addicting. I could see myself wanting another in the future but what and where? - Well, we’ll just see when that time comes.

What piece of clothing do you own that is not in style, doesn't fit, that you do not wear, but you keep?

My mother has an amazing red leather jacket from the ‘80’s. It invokes the image of Sandy coming out at the end of Grease, finally sexy. It is an amazing jacket but my mom nor I have anywhere to wear it. But I won’t let her get rid of it, one day I will have somewhere (other than a Halloween party) to wear it.

Liz Smith's Invaluable Jacket

Or you could give it to me - oh Liz, it sounds wonderful!

What is the most embarrassing piece of music you own?

Well this one is easy…I own every Hanson album they have put out thus far…Although I’m not too embarrassed (they are my favorite band) having 16 versions of mmmbop is not something to brag about.

Introducing a New Feature: wOw Scenes!

I wish there was a place for me to show mine because you can’t get the full effect without seeing it. My desk is small, the same desk that I’ve had since I was a little girl, but it is currently positioned perfectly in front of my "window to the world." I live up in Washington Heights just south of the Hospital on the top floor of one of the tallest buildings around and I have a perfect view of the NYC skyline. Any night I could tell you what color the Empire State Building is and this year on 9/11 I could see those bright lights in memoriam shooting straight up from down at the Seaport from over 200 streets north of there. It is the most majestic sight and purely magical. Technically, I live in NYC and yet I can see, from my desk, what is considered the "Great Skyline."
