What's your viewpoint on a one-term presidency for Obama, no matter the reason?

alice ruth - You are absolutely correct, in noting: "There is a danger for us as a nation when "taking" sides becomes more important than "joining" sides as we work to solve the grave political and social problems we face."  When we "take," we are steeped in all that is negative - and lose.  But when we "join," we are celebrating all that is positive - and win.  I look forward to all your future positive, insightful and thoughtful posts.  Patty

For me, it’s books, books and more books!

Political Cover Stars? Spare Me! by Mr. wOw

I think that it’s fitting that President Obama is on the cover of "GQ."  It’s a gentle reminder, for him, to "go quietly" back to work, in the Oval Office.

S.J. Morgan - I, too, chose not to renew my subscription to "Newsweek, after being a subscriber since the 1970’s.  As I’ve previously noted, to me, the publication is now known as: "Newsweak."

Mr. Wow - As I’ve noted, in an earlier reply, to Lily Rose; I have now dubbed "Newsweek," as "Newsweak."

Lily Rose - Yes, it’s sexism alright.  I have now dubbed "Newsweek," - "Newsweak."

What habit do you have that is silly, time-wasting or childish that you can't abandon?

Linda - Your wOw diet plan is sensible and safe, and can be followed, according to one’s own need, at any time.  Thanks for sharing it.

Linda - Welcome back to the wOw site.  Depending on the Question of the Day, let’s hope you return often.

Mr. wOw's Love Affair With George Clooney

Bella Mia - I agree, it’s Cary Grant for me, too.  But George Clooney has come a long way since his sitcom days on "Facts of Life," and a minor role on an episode of "The Golden Girls," where he played a rookie on the police force.
