I see the internet going down in history as the catalist for freedom. The more informed people are, the freer they want to be. Information and communication will be the bane of these regimes.

I’m absolutely positive that Michelle Obama is a very nice lady and is doing what parents and grandparents have been doing for hundreds of years in the farming communities. Since I was a kid, living in the urban areas, we had a back-yard garden…So this is nothing new to me but I’m glad the press is using her garden as a learning opportunity, for folks that may have never seen a vegetable garden or knew where vegetables came from. 

Elephants and any animal in captivity should have their ‘displays’ as close to the real thing as possible. I’m with the humane treatment of our animal friends but I have to say that our zoo in Portland, Oregon has done a wonderful job of taking care of our elephants and making their enclosure as natural as possible. There are always improvements to be made tho’ and your cause is noble.

I’d also like to brag about our ‘Wildlife Safari’ in Winston, Oregon and another on our coast, that have the animals roaming free while you drive through.

I hope the increase in the reward helped get someone to turn in this disturbed, kitty killer. I can only speculate how long he’s been up to this but hopefully, the mental health folks will be pro-active on this case. As for the poor little puppy..(yes, the video was hard to watch)…kids DO seem to be fasinated with toilets and this tough pup was soooo lucky. Sounds like Mom was right on it tho and he was saved.
