I have to agree with Susan, yes you are giving of yourself, but is it for the right reasons? Anyone can give regardless of ones faith, but will it be for the right reason. If there has ever been a hurtful thing, that happen in ones life, you might have too forgive of yourself, in order to have that , ( Giving Heart). …. You might ask yourself, what does she mean? You have to go through things in order to know, Being 60 yrs old, I walked around with hate in my heart for years, ….About being given away when I was 6 days old….Then being stole back when I was 4 years old, large enough to hold the baby, my mother was about to give birth too, then haveing to be mistreated. But I realized, I had to move forward, I asked God to help me to forgive myself, the persons that I had, hate in my heart also.Belive me, in an hour, I notice a change in ,ME. The man is plainly saying he do not know anything, while Mccain is saying, “Joe the Plumber” is our savior, he might speak for a few, but not for me. Hi Patty, This have been going on for a long time, it just did not happen. Althought here in Texas, When My Ex returned from Nam, he recieved his old job back, at a lower pay.When our sons reached the age to go into service, (the Gulf war) when they returnned they did not get their jobs back, I had two sons in the gulf war at the same time. The people that put their lives, in harms way do not get the respect, that the WWI or WW2 have. It seem to me that America think that is the only war that has been. They have never given the Nam, war heros the respect they should have been given, I’m not sure if the Veterans Administtration really care, unless someone show me different, I will continue to feel this way.

Every day that I get out of bed and tell myself,Its going to be a good day, I Lie. Each day someone ask me if I’m ok, and I say “yes, I lie. But deep in my heart, I know I have to make it, because I have others depending on me. I hold certain friends at bay and smile, because I know some know me so well, they will figure it out. Even my sons have no idea, how I feel, but as long as Mom tell them I’m Ok, all is good with the world………. With a smile on my face.

Liz, I can not believe you wrote that, LOL. Remember your speech at Ann Richards, untimely departure? If there was any insecurties in your body, they was out to play, or is that the way you are? Your speech was done the way Ann would have wanted, you had people rolling in the aisles, but all in all if at the time of my departure, I would want a friend, as you are to do the same on my golden day.
