As a liberal Christian I’ll tell you why we, as Christians, are bashed so much.  The Christian Coalition and the GOP make us look like a bunch of hypocritical haters who use bible verses when it is convenient but ignore the rest.  They have made Chrisians look like fools in the eyes of just about everyone else.  Someone needs to give those idiots the boot so we can get back to the real teaching of Christ - love for God and our fellow man, not HATE.

I’m sorry you are so full of hate that you would intentionally try to physically harm another individual.  I consulted my Wiccan friends and they said your car may be covered in Pagan stickers but you are not following the path to spirituality and are just a wanna be.

For some reason, my comment disappeared when I posted!  I was fortunate to be raised to respect all religions, even if I did not agree with their teachings.  I have raised my children the same way.  Therefore, we are surrounded by Prodestant Christians (we are Jesus freeks, ourselves),  Catholics, Mormons, JW’s, Jews, a couple of Buddhists, a Hindu and a couple of Wiccans.  Oh, yeah!  An Athiest and 2 agnostics.  When religion comes up we are able to discuss it without becoming ugly, unlike the majority of the commenters on this post.  I’m just thankful that I was raised right and have raised my children right.  They will never react with ugliness when coming across opinions different from their own and will not shame myself or God.  Sorry that so many of you cannot say the same thing.

Please!  He not only cheated on his wonderful wife Julianne Moore with a woman of obvious loose morals, but he let the gossip mags catch him in the act and break the news to his wife for him.  You want to sleep with a married man, don’t complain when you get back what you put out there in the first place.  And to the commenter who said no one knows if he cheated, where were you when the story broke?!?!  I guess pictures of a man half nude with a woman in her nightie hanging all over each other in a motel room with the curtains open just isn’t proof enough.  If your husband is a cheater, he must thank his lucky stars!  But I’m sure that the fact that he left his wife to run off with the "woman of loose morals" (to quote myself) is just a "coincidence".

Wow!  Really?  To those complaining about signs in other languages, maybe you should get out more.  Other countries have no problem making things accessable to all.  The only reason we don’t have more info in more languages is because we take up so much space and the only foreign language speaking country near us is Mexico.  I’m sure you would be much happier if we were communists.  Then the government could force a one language country.

Wow, Republican4Life, what did your mom do to you to make you hate women so?  What comes out of your mouth sounds an awful lot like something you’d hear from a serial killer.  Maybe you wet the bed and your parents beat you and hung your sheets in the yard for all of the neighbors to see.  I don’t know.  What I do know is that whatever was done to you to make you so hateful is very sad and I will pray for you.  True Christians follow the teachings of Jesus Christ who was not a hater.  Try opening the New Testament once in a while.  Maybe you’ll learn how to love others instead of hating them.  We don’t sacrafice animals anymore, as Jesus’ coming changed everything.  It changed a lot of things.  You should read about that.

I don’t get the hero worship of Rush Limbaugh.  He’s one of the most negative, bitter men I have ever heard speak.  He’s very ugly on the inside and spews only venom.  He is more the mouthpiece of Satan than anything.  Anyone who would state he wants our country to fall apart even further just so he can gloat is absolutely the bottom of the barrel.  So, he wants my children’s future’s destroyed just so he can say I told you so about a democratic president?  How is anyone listening to him after that?  Shame on all of those who do.  May your children’s futures be brighter than your "Republican Leader" wants them to be.
