The Palin Book, as Dear Margo Sees It

If I were to write an article such as this one about Obama what you all say then? When I have not met the man, spoken to him but base an article on what I hear from others how fair would you say my statements would be about him? I am a University Graduate and did it after having two children - I am not a Republican and have had a very successful career in nursing. So I have lived a life of my own making. Not one ‘made up’ by others as this one is written.

Do you not think there are enough lies going around about Obama that need to be stopped? So why would this not hold true regarding Governor Palin or Hilary Clinton for that matter who also fought this type of garbage during her career. It makes me very angry to hear other women demean women. You might not agree with her politics but she has a right to live her life just like the rest of us do. Just like Obama does …. Why can’t we as women at least be fair and truthful in our opinions about each other? Why do we stand by and let other women be treated in a way that would never be tolerated or probably never happen if she were a man?

That is what makes me angry. We have come so far in our fight for equality as women yet we will eat our own just to destroy another woman. If this article was based on not liking her policy ideas that would be one thing but it is an afront to the fact that she is a woman. THAT I resent very much. Take her on about her policies if you like and her record as a politician in Alaska. This is just about demeaning a woman and it is not necessary.

I will support in 2010 and 2012 whoever is going to best represent what I want to see in America. I personally do not care which party they run for as long as they will represent what I want to see happen in this country. But I will not be part of a herd mentality that puts all women in the garbage when it comes to being leaders. Obama is living proof that anything is possible in America.

Interesting that someone who dropped out of Brandeis University (never heard of it) to get married and then went through three husbands before marrying a fourth time …. Who has never even ghost written a best selling book let alone written a book that made the best sellers list …. Who’s career seemed to be built off the back of her most famous mother - thinks she has something to say about Sarah. I think she does not. I think this is an ignorant article written about a super American woman who did not like what she saw and went and changed it. Now THAT is the American way! Making money off of articles such as this is drivel …. but just as the author of this article has the right to laugh all the way to the bank - so does Governor Palin.

Deber, you do realize you are tryin to speak to those who adore Bill Mayer? Good grief! CNN is now rated below MSNBC so there is not much to be seen in any poll they take! Your statements are right on target Deber as always. It never ceases to amaze me that so many women fought so hard over the years to give us standing and merit in society. Yet we are so quick to believe spoon fed propoganda and eat our own rather than stand with them. Many here mention how ‘educated’ Obama is - yet what do we really know about him? Not much …. and people see right through his empty promises and lies and watch as he tried to bring America to its financial knees. Surely there are some here who must know via common sense that we cannot buy our way out of debt and yet that is the path we are on. I do not know what Governor Palin’s plans are but I support her in anything and everything she decides to do because she is a patriot. She did not like what she saw going on in her town so she ran for council - and changed it. She did not like what was going on in council so she ran for Mayor - and changed it. She saw the corruption in her state politics so she ran for Governor and changed it. There are people sitting in jail as we speak because of her and some of them are republicans. WE need politicians like her who are ready and willing to take on the old guard in our national houses and replace them with people who are honoured to serve America. We can and we will no matter what party they are in. As Americans we need to start electing people who will represent all of us and it does not matter which side of the fence we are standing on. Some here will never understand that what has happened in politics is our fault. We were asleep at the wheel and put trust in people we never should have trusted. The only way things are going to change for the better is if we all change what we expect of our elected representatives and hold their feet to the fire.

Obama in a Box of His Own Making, by Liz Peek

Ahhhhh Rainbow and let them wait for this false promise of health care for all - what is voted in will be voted out - fiscal conservatives and independants are waiting for their turn as well to turf this pretender president and his goons out of office. Can hardly wait to see it happen!

It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

If the Dems try to shove this dog of a heathcare bill down America’s throat it will be the rallying cry for the 2010 & 2012 elections. Anything voted in can and will be repealed and I would bet my last nickle that anyone interested in keeping the Republic will the majority - and they will respond by putting people in office who are not going there for business as usual.

As citizens we need to take reponsibility for the fact that we allowed this madness of uncontrolled spending, ridiculous port rewards for votes and corruption to go on in the government for too long. The old guard of BOTH parties needs to be replaced with those who will truly work for the people of America. So I will thank Obama for waking us up and as I said months ago on this site - Obama should have been the most historic President our country has ever had. Instead he is the biggest joke we ever played on ourselves.

Excellent article indeed Deber! It must be remembered that the only violence that has ever taken place came from SEU members against Tea Party protesters. The poor fellow that was beat up by them is still not back to his good health! And how about the fellow who had his finger chomped off by a Liberal! Violence to me = liberals …..

It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

When have I ever displayed distatesful, horrific behaviour here? Just as the majority of the tea party protesters do no such things ….. It is awful how the liberal media portrays these people especially one fellow with a sub-machine gun they kept showing over and over - but all you saw as they showed it was the gun ….. Not that it makes a difference but he was African American …..

I am sorry that you have the opinions that you do Maggie …. and disappointed. We have always agreed to disagree but this is one time you are believing things that just are not true - and I am sorry for it.

It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

It often comes back to me that as a supporter of the Tea Party Protests I might be racial and I am not ….. Yes everyone has a right to their opinion but all protesters are not the same. I support the protests against the spending spree this and past administrations have been on. I support the protest trying to let them know that we are watching and we are not happy.

I thought he did but what would I know - just another dumb Republican!!!

It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

Maggie you have always been a reasoned poster but I am one of those delusional Tea Party lunatics you are talking about and kind of resent that attack! I am as reasonable as anyone but I know that we CANNOT SPEND OUR WAY OUT OF DEBT!

I do not care how we got here and can go back twenty years worth of apathy on our part as American citizens to spread the blame around. The fact is it has to stop before America is brought to its financial knees! I am also not in favour of the government having control over my life. I love our republic and do not want it changed. Since when does the government know better than the indivudual what we need in our lives? Where in the Constitution does it say the government has the right to turn us into a nanny state?

I am sad to read that you do not have a good grip on what we are trying to say in our protests. I do not agree with any who turn out with racist or demeaning attacks but I do agree that we must stop the spending. It is madness that you do not appear to understand that but I would not demean your opinion …. just your opinion of me ….

It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

Didn’t Biden run for President once? I think he did and had to drop out because of plagerism …. pretty sure that happened ….

It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

You are right about Hilary Marj - Even though I am ‘on the other side’ so to speak she would have been doing a much better job but Obama is a puppet. It is all the people around him pulling the strings that control what is going on - not him …..

Those very same people could not let Hilary win because the Hilary thinks for herself and I believe would not be controlled by anyone ….. She would have been decisive as well ….

McCain - absolutely ….. He would have done a great job and I can think of no other time in history we had someone who had served America so well they actually deserved to be President ….. But he ran a terrible campaign ….

It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

lost the world’s goodwill ????

Oh like we had it when Clinton was in office??Riiighhht …. anyone remember the Monica affair? That was embarassing. I would rather be "hated" by the world because frankly I do not give a ding dong what the world thinks of America - I just do not want to be embarassed anymore by the likes of Clinton and laughed at by the world with this joker of a puppet we have in the White House! You think the world LIKES America better because of Obama ….. OMG ….. R U for real?

Gets the Nobel prize? FOR WHAT???? Runs off to get his Chicago thugs the Olympics which we lose and has to spend two minutes on air pushing his personality agenda before talking to Americans about it??? Embarassing ….. Bowing to Sudi Kings and appologizing all around the world for how ashamed he was of his own country? …. and there is more …. Shall I go on?

But the worst thing of all is not listening to the people. Making fun of us who are so concerned about our country going bankrupt we can’t sleep at night because he does not care. It is all about him and his agenda …. and that agenda is going to bring America to its knees ….. Since when has anybody ever spent their way out of debt?

That would be NEVER! People in America have lost their brains but thank God we are finding them fast and will not be taken in again ….

Brittle Obama Thrashes Wall Street: All Form, No Substance, by Liz Peek

I do not want the "Party of NO" in power - I do not want the "Old" Republican party in power no matter how badly I want Obama and his goons out …. No, I want a party in power that will walk the walk of fiscal responsibily, one who will put the constitution and protection of Americans first, one that will let the free market be free, one that will not interfere in the everyday decision making of the American people, I could go on but wait! THAT WOULD BE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY - at its best - back to the roots - the CONSERVATIVE end of that party …. and that is who will get my money and who I will work my fingers to the bone for next year and in 2012 ….
