It’s just a sad fact that many people do not care & in this materialistic capitalist country, if you don’t have money some people think you deserve to stay sick & possibly die.

Are you an American? First of all anyone who needs treatment here gets it - whether they have medical coverage or not …. secondly American is the most generous country in the world …. We are broke but we are still sending billions of dollars in aid to countries some think need it …. irony of it is I bet most of what we send goes anywhere but where it should - to the people in need …..

The thing is Maggie this administration has been having very extended panick attacks (as opposed to plans of attack). They appear almost epileptic in their attempts to try and get anything through …… switch and bait ….. won’t work this way so lets try it that way ….. Obama is nothing more than a puppet and too many different interest groups have hold of the strings. Now, it sounds like they may try the sympathy act to turn Americans around …. "Poor dead Kennedy - let’s name it after him" but we are wide awake and watching and many of us have actually read this bill = it is a bad one and we cannot afford this …. and was it not Obama himself that just killed a program that allowed minorities to go to better schools? Why - if he is intent on better education for our children why did he do this? He is still having seizures and we are watching ….

…’she spoke at the Reagan Library’ … recently … Perhaps some better research is needed on the part of the folks who did this article. The truth is tickets were sold out in a matter of hours at the Regan Library with the promise of Governor Palin being a guest speaker but she had not confirmed that and had made them aware of the fact it was not likely she would be able to attend - which she did not. Amuses me that those who did not learn from history are doomed to repeat it as are the Democrats. Fact of the matter is the same seek and destory mission being tried against Governor Palin was tried by this party against Ronald Regan - and they failed miserably …. just as they will will fail using their lies and propoganda against her. She is very popular, stands for conservatism and is already a political force that a great number of people love. She has a servant’s heart and in light of the corrupt people this President has surrounded himself with and the policies that have never made it off the ground I am hopeful he will be a one term Pres …. and I look forward to seeing who wins the White House next. You betcha!

I don’t have any faith in anything that Mitt Romney says …. the plan he brought into his state is bankrupt and all he did was leave a big mess behind. Hawaii tried to bring in free healthcare for all the children who did no have it and it lasted 8 months before it had to be cancelled it became so badly abused …. I still think a council of us from all sides could come up with something that would serve all of us better and make it more affordable and accessible for Americans to have health care -WITHOUT a government option.

If you take a look at the people Obama hung around with and what his political beliefs actual are he is not hard to figure out …. He is as far left as you can get in beliefs as are Pelosi, Frank etc. - and that is all right if the whole country is ready and willing to accept the kind of change that will make our Republic redundant ….

I think they spend too many years at it Phyllis …. we need to demand term limits and if you are not elected to consecutive terms you do not get the golden goodies that go with it …. The only thing Barney Frank has ever really done is run for office yet he is a millionaire - and then there is McCain and the list goes on …. when they become so imbedded they think they own the seat we have to wonder if they are really representing us anymore ….

… and having the race card thrown in our face all the time is unfair. Race has nothing to do with this (macwoof) - I wanted Obama to succeed but he does not have the experience - he has too many people pulling his strings Maggie and he is tangled up in all the promises he made just to get elected and will never be able to keep …. Even if he gets something passed it will anger Americans so much it will be repealed at the first opportunity so everyone loses anyway … and I do agree with you …. it is all just so sad for our country right now ….
