let me make it very clear -i am not afraid of hilary she stands for many good things its her politics i don’t like not her policies did she once say that obama was an intelligent man capble of leadership-no did she once say that bill clinton was also accused of being inexperienced-no did she say that obama is an inclusive gracious man who is a uniter-no did she mention that we need a man who listens and is not afraid of others opionions-no it’s the country i care about and fear for we need this man and her supporters need to know that

I shun Hillary, after being a avid Clinton supporter for years, because of the of the campaign she ran. When Hillary Clinton uses Rove like tactics - innuendo and half truths, deliberately misquoting and promoting misunderstanding - is not only when I stop supporting her and I stop respecting her. Last night she could have played down the supposed need for her supporters to have the catharic experience of cheering for her and played up the fact that there is an amazing man who is the actual nominee. I do not want to continue this in fighting but the Clinton supporters have realize that the Obama campaign is not the enemy and if they really care about what is going to happen to this country the need to get behind him.

clinton gave a good speach last night but i agree she was defintly looking out for her own intrests and future but i think thats what she always does as a fifty something women who is suppose to be her big supporter i just dont like or trust her its all about her -yet dispite herself she made the point that matters its the economy stupid who could say they support the things she stands for and even consider voting for mccain we are in really serious truble -on the world stage with our prestige in tatters-and a war mccain will not let go of economically -with health care crisis -housing crisis -banking crisis -education crisis i want a smart president for a change -one who like lincoln is inclusive - enough of john wayne bombast -lets elect a man who is not afraid of thinking -not afraid of nuance and not afraid to listen to others i think american voters of today would have run henry clay out of town on a rail-what are we thinking?

we have come a long way and have a long way to go i’m more concerned about how we get there and why do we just want women to achive things because they are women or are we bring something different and important to the table and if we are not going to bring some empathy and common sense to the table i really don’t believe it matters if it men or women

have to say molly mccoy is completely incorrect-oboma won in iowa long before mccain was the only republican in the race-and he won by bringing a cross section of people together who believe that he is the one who can stop the old washington game and give the government back to the people -including republicans-as for carl rove and the crazy right wing they are actively suggesting that republicans vote for clinton-she is the one they want to run against and if you look at the polls you will know why-her negitives are huge and mccain is betting her in them

the qustion is -can and african american win in this country—god i hope so -we have our weakness which we indulge -but when push comes to shove i hope we can do what was done in to kill a mockingbird and find a way to over come our backwardness-go publicly for the man who who will represent the “better angels” of our nature—if anyone can overcome this bigotry i think obama can -he speaks to our needs -i hope people listen and do not go by pejiduce but by our need as a country and a world to work together

having read over the comments so far all i can say is -ridiculous. women should vote for women-absurd-people should vote for the person that they believe will do the best job for this country and it’s citizens-regardless of race, gender, age , party affliation etc.-haven’t we gotten beyond this nonsence yet?-it really embarasses me to hear so many women and womens groups taking this small minded approach to this campagin-i thought we have been bragging about the voice of reason and decency that we were going to bring to public discussions- as far as the big bad media picking on poor little hil-give me a break -she said she dodged bullets-she didn’t -that should have been reported-just like obamas ministers antics should have been reported-the difference is he answered with a thoughtful and thought-provoking speech about and issue that long ago should have been addressed and she whinned that she was being picked on which by the way she has a history of doing right back to the white house years-which way is it -is she the tough warrior or the poor little victim -can’t have it both ways. both candidates have been on the end of favorable and unfavorable stories-i am more interested in how that is handled. as far as ms sussmen is concerned she should really get her facts straight-i don’t care if she supports hilary mccain or humpty-dumpty obama has never been accused of taking kick-backs or any other kind of ciminal behavior -in fact if she was from chicago as i am she would know that the dealings that obama has had with resko have been thoroughly investegated, reported on and scrutinized by the media and the courts and obamas name has been completely cleared -again he could have cried nasty old media -again he was honest and straight forward and admitted that his decisions were “bonehead” -bonehead mam-not criminal-also by the way anyone who has done business or politics in chicago has some aquaintance with resko-including the clintons-he was a mover and shaker about town until he decieded he was bigger than the law. as far as chelsea is concerened -it was not the media who posed the question about monica but a kid on a college campus and she handled it badly-a proper answer whould have been -my parents have dealt with that issue and its over-my mother is talking about important things she wants to do for this country -that is what i am here to talk about-but no -i’m afraid we heard the whine yet again-I think that there are three very good candidates running for president this time -i happen to feel that in the course of this campagin -but even before this campagin -in his books and in his life work obama has exhibited a strength of charater that is rarly seen in our public figures-americans are so disallutioned with their government-people think it really doesn’t matter who is in office-i think that obama is right -that this can change -not by one politican trying to change it but by the american people investing in the process and getting involved-clinton totes her connections to the washington power base-thats what i want to see go away-mccain believes in the big bad enemy that must be stopped-i’m going with obama -but whoever you go with -it should be for the right reasons not silly politics as usual
