Spring has arrived! In this time of rebirth and renewal, what do you want to remake or rework in your life?
Wow, everyone has such great "Spring Renewals" that I feel if I don’t write this down, I may not do it! Actually I have moved twice in the last two years after having lived in one place for 16 years. And also have health problems that keep me from being active at a gym or classes (which would enable me to find new friends). I have become sort of a recluse the past two years because I am embarressed that I haven’t been able to take care of myself the way I used to.
So I have felt that I need to get out of my rut and maybe take classes such as photography or painting, etc. in order to keep myself somewhat social.
Also, I need to accept that I will NOT be a size 4 anymore and never will be again… not even close. I have to tell myself to move on and accept myself as I am and love who I have become. I am going to do the maximum that my body will allow and not hurt myself or beat myself up anymore about becoming something that I am not able to be. This is hard when I have very thin size 0 friends back home who love to tell me about the hard time they are having finding "tiny" clothes for themselves, or just constantly talking about their weight to me. Gee, I guess this is what you call the Toxic Friend. It definintely is time for new friends!
Volunteering for a good cause. I would also love to take the focus off of myself and the best way to do that is to do something for someone else!

Michelle Obama Should Leave Daughters' Diets Out of the Press
Wow… sounds like some of us forgot to put on a estrogen patch or something! Let’s get back to the original subject. I think if Michelle Obama makes the decision to "put" the girls diet out there like that for what she thinks is for the good of America, great. Personally, I would wouldn’t use the girls as an example, I think she could aquire her goal at better eating for America’s Children without using them. But hey, maybe some kids will respond to this. I think it would do more good than harm. I myself, would not use this tactic on my kids. But I would prefer having them watch the Obama girls diet rather than some of the super skinny girl icons from T.V. that they might see.
