Everyone has their individual story but since Oboma is on a roll with his healthcare plan he should publically come out and re assure the American Woman who voted for him that this is just a task force and the recomendations are just that. Heather I have friends in Canada who come here for help. So there is no clear answre yet the President does have a wife and two daughters who can get ahead of the line. The reason we have to wait for Mamograms is that they are busy becaue more woman are getting them and many hospitals have closed so the staff has to double up. As we all know if an emergency arrives in America you can go to the ER to get ahead of the line. Panic on both sides of this political bull shit has me angry because our government is still runned by to many MEN.

Liz the best article yet written by you on WoW. I agree and could not of said it better. Oboma needs to concentrate on two things right now. Getting troops out of Irac evenly and responsible, cover our butts in Afganistan and make sure our soldiers have what they need. Then concentrate on Jobs for Americans. Health care has been messed up and will take more than his first year to solve. Do one or two things well instead of trying to please everyone. I don’t think either party has the quick solution, but make no mistake about the disgusting Mediare fraud and billions that could be saved to utilize for people with no insurance. How can we depend on the government for healthcare when right now they can’t even clean up the fraud. My god this is the day of computers and social security numbers where how can dead people still collect when their relatives use their number for fraud. If they can keep track of who does not file income taxes can they not keep track of dead people who still are collecting. Both medicare, medicaide, & SS should have a combined data base for cross checking.

Belinda I always enjoy your take on issues. I agree with you about John Edwards. Doing what he did while his wife was dealing with cancer is digusting. I always agree the honesty if best. If we had that more in our political arena with both Dems & Reps we Americans would be in better shape.

I think they do care what the public thinks because they choose the public life. I always said to my family if I were really rich or famous I would not want my life out there for all to see. Sometimes just getting by, being happy, enjoying love ones and taking things day to day is being Rich without the drama. Edwards is scum, Good for Letterman for being a man about it, and Martha got the penalty she deserved and moved on. Famous or not everyone should be held to the same standard. If you live your life famous and in the newspapers that goes with the territory. Suck it up.

I like what Joy Behr said on the View about in the future when she boards a plane. Instead of "How are you today" she will be saying "Are we rested enought today". She hates to fly and had me laughing. On a serious note Maggie & Signing In are right on about their comments. The crew are all covering for each other and I’m just curious about their pay scale. I thought that they were paid fairly decent along with great benefits am I mistaken?

Needless to say this was disturbing and nodding off has nothing to do with less pay or even being tired. I can nod off when I’m bored easily and not necessairly be tired. Just like an office when they are on auto pilot they need to do something so being on a lap top or talking isn’t so bad, what we need is for the co-pilot & the pilot take turns and check each other out during long flights. Maybe this means that they get up walk around and talk to the passengers like in the old days and go back and switch so they get their body moving. Also having mandatory cock pit checks by the head stewardess. They are human and it can happen and lets face it did happen.

Belinda you are so right. I’m out of work so my unemployment check gets sent to me in full plus I collect my social security check as well. I break out in a cold sweat when I visit my tax guy because I know that I have to give IRS a nice chunk all at once. But I never in all my 63 years not paid my taxes even during hard times. This is why people do not trust government. This is why government needs to stay out of our business because you do not know who to trust anymore.

Frank re-read my post. I am a Republican and I think you misunderstood me. A lot of what Belinda said is true and I agree that Oboma needs to back off from spending and create jobs. I just can not see us sending more troops. We need to take care of are own. There are 3 million children in the US below the poverty level and are not getting a education. This concerns me. Trying to save the world before you clean your own up is like paddeling against the tide. I am not for socialism and I believe capitolizism is what makes us the country it is. All I’m saying is that politics and selfish people on both sides are getting in the way of moving forward. So many countries are critical of us and I don’t give a Sh**. They all seem to come here for the American dream and the American buck. All I am saying is stop sacraficing our boys for a cause that can never be resolved as long as these countries do not value life.

Belinda I was totally impressed and agree with your post. Just one point when 9/11 took place Bush was not in office that long and that plot was well in the works before he became President. I’m just trying to be fair minded because our world was turning badly before 8 years ago it just all caught up to us and Bush’s administration did not improve anything. He is not to blame for everything that went wrong just as Oboma has not been in office long enough to make anything right. Oboma is not the new messiah nor is George Bush the devil. Some people of this country and greed have caused a lot of our problems. The Politicians both Dems & Reps are worrying about hanging onto their jobs. If we are ever going to get back on track we will need unity and hopefully Oboma can accomplish that. One man can not do this we Americans have to start caring about each other and stop worrying about the whole world right now. We will be unable to help the world if our own structure starts to colapse.

I’m with Scarlett on this one we need to keep our army strong here in America so we can start protecting ourselves and keep our borders safe. Enough already of policing the world. Who can we count on to rush to our aide if something horrible happens. No one but us. The terrorist problem is like a cancer and when there is a remission it’s great then the cancer starts to slowly spread somewhere else. As long as there are evil, ignortant fanatics who believe in Virgins in heaven and treat woman they way they do we will never stop them. Bring our boys all home and start using our smarts & intelligence to protect are own.

Suzanne I hear your frustration and can relate but after 9/11 and losing friends I can tell you I’m still glad that we have our guard up. Terrorist are very patient people with a major agenda and they wait for our guard to be down. It’s not the same world anymore and 9/11 changed that.
