In the shower or washing dishes.  Although sometimes I think in my sleep.  I’ll go to bed with a problem and wake up with a solution, as if my mind was working on it while I was asleep.

If that makes the person feel less then that’s on them.  I would never call another woman mother, no matter the relationship I had with her.  That wouldn’t mean that I hated my father’s new wife and it shouldn’t make her feel less.  There wouldn’t be a such thing as "step" if everyone felt that the titles didn’t mean something.  When you come into a family you come into that dynamic and if that’s how the child’s parents feel then the respect has to go both ways.  It’s not for anybody else to tell her what her child should call a woman who has no connection to her or her husband other than she married his father.  And since they’ve been estranged for a while over the marriage it seems a presumptous to try to get the child to call Betty grandmother.  Instead of it being the parents trying to punish them for getting married it sounds like the grandfather is pushing back to get back at them for not approving of his marriage.

I don’t think she has the right to question someone else’s choices when those choices didn’t affect her in any way or hurt anybody else.  That’s not questioning that’s judging.  Your rights stop when they infringe on the rights of others.

Halle was acting.  And there is nothing wrong with nudity in movies when its not gratuitous.  You don’t come into into this world with clothes on and if she was cool with the nude scenes then you have no right to question her dignity or self-respect or denigrate her. Actresses turn down parts for all sorts of reasons and take them for a myriad of others.  And considering that she won the academy award for best actress, the first Black woman to do so, I’m sure some of those actresses are regretting their decision.

Maureen was not Patti’s stepsister, she was her half-sister.  

O’Reilly needs a reality check if he doesn’t think that Fox news is hateful and damaging and dishonest. And Fox isn’t out to make a buck? Everyone in the business is doing it to make money.

The marriage issue is especially sensitive to me because it took a Supreme Court deicsion to make my marriage legal.  And it hasn’t been that long.

Because being gay still means being treated as less than you are in society.  Honestly who wants to open themselves up to the hate and ridicule that still accompanies coming out for some people.  Not to mention the whole marriage issue and children.  Most people just want to live their lives in peace and there can be a distinct lack of peace for gays in just trying to live their lives.

I’m kinda bummed about this news.  Maybe now that the nest is empty they realized that the marriage is as well.

Yes, and it didn’t make a difference.  But this would never be a question posted to a man.

I’ve always thought that Demi Moore and Bruce Willis showed real class with their divorce.  And Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith along with his ex-wife kept it classy too.  They even got a show out of it.
