Thank God somebody from this country besides Jimmy Carter, tried to help the poor beleaguered Palestinians—first starved by Israel to the point of being a humanitarian crisis & now ripped apart by their bombs murdering non-combatants & many children. The poor Palestinians have been totally outmatched by Israeli state-of-the-art weaponry, including nukes, bought from the US & gotten from the $3 BILLION dollars worth of aide they get every year from the US, for over 50 yrs, that has enabled Israel to oppress the Palestinians & occupy their land—yet they bravely fight for their rights to live on their land. Shame on Israel & shame on US policy that has enabled them. It was very brave of Cynthia McKinney—bravo to her! The world needs to know that we here in the US do not agree with Israel’s behavior.

You ask am I ready to “give back the land to the indigenous peoples”? When we fought the American Indians & took their land it was not right but that is a different situation than the nations of the UN deciding that we should live here with the American Indians & share the country while we agree but then fight them all the way & cut off food & water & meds when they have bows & arrows while we have nukes & state of the art weapons given to us by a superpower It’s a pity you went to the trouble to copy all those numbers but found it too hard to research the truth of this situation. If Israel would share the country with Palestinians for real—-there would be no fighting any more—but knowing how they hold on like bull dogs til they get what they want, they will never stop til they succeed—or are forcibly stopped by the rest of the world. Cindy Sheehan has organized a demonstration if San Francisco to protest Israeli aggression & occupaton of Palestinain land. Israel has killed way more Palestinians over all the yrs than vice versa—-like 6 to 1—-because they have way more money. The US gives them 3 BILLION in aide every year tht they use to hurt Palestinians, while Americans go without! More than a dozen foreign countries had spontaneous demonstrations against Israeli attacks in Gaza, plus the UN Sec General condemned Israel’s “excessive use of force”, & called for Israel “to curb their inflammatory rhetoric” per JTA News Service. In London they held up signs that read, “Stop the Holocaust in Gaza”. 2,000 protestors in Germany. Demonstrations in Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Venezuela & Caracas. In Greece, the leader of one political party gave a statement comparing Israel’s actions to Hitler’s. He said, “Someone has to pull the ear of the darling child of the West (meaning Israel). It’s aggressiveness & malice against non-combatants, whose only precedent can be found during Hitler’s time, cannot leave the international community indifferent”. Of course, it’s despicable for a nation that full well understands what oppression means firsthan, to do it to another people!! Of course, all the muslim countries protested. If I were you Christine, I’d want to get myself & my grandaughter out of that situation & out of that town to a bigger city where there are more opportunities ASAP. Sell the laptop, stop the internet service & use the money for bus tickets to a city where there is mass transportation so you can get around cheaply & where you have friends or relatives near. There must be someone who cares about you both enough to help. Maybe you can live with them til you & your grandaughter, if she’s old enough, get jobs & get on your feet. You can’t always get paid to do the work you WANT to do—sometimes you have to temporarily settle for getting some money—& keep your dreams going on the side or until you get in a better situation. Caroline blows in Henley’s book cause she can’t see Russia from her NY apartment nor whip a crowd up to want to kill Repubs.

The NY governor knows Caroline is serious, thoughtful, honest, intelligent, loves her country & wants to join the family business—politics. Plus she can raise large sums of money & has a lot of contacts & favors owed her family—not to mention people love her & trust her. She might even run for president if she’s good at it—she has a statesmen-like quality. Those things are always attractive when thinking of who is the best democrat to appoint.

Well, those who like O’Reilley could consider that he outsmarted the women on the View, because he did. That’s the best I can do to create detente. It irritated me that he wasn’t made to answer anything & just kept laughing & chiding the girls..

I’ll remember it was the year my eldest son won 2nd place in the state’s basketball tournament—how exciting it was—they lost 1st place by 6 excruciating points. It’s the year my husband made the most money he’s ever made in his life in one year—a personal best, & just at the right time too. It’s great Obama got elected but I don’t really expect him to right wrongs like he said he would— judging from what he’s said & done so far. I hope I’m wrong & pleasantly surprised. We’ll be lucky to get out of all this without soup lines & work crews, not to mention global warming looming ahead.
