Maurine, could you believe those words came out of Rep. McCarthey … I mean Bachmann’s mouth? Oh, and you will be happy to know that she blamed Chris Matthews today for setting her up. Because he could read her mind and knew she was going to spout out that kind of crap?

That isn’t what she said, Elaine. Here is the direct quote: “Our view is that if you can’t run your own house, you certainly can’t run the White House,” Michelle Obama continued: “[S]o we’ve adjusted our schedules to make sure that our girls are first, so while he’s [Barack Obama] traveling around, I do day trips” in order to be “home before bedtime.”

And Elaine, if you had any biblical knowledge you would know it is referred to in 1 Thessalonians 4:13 or 2 Timothy Chapter 4 or Genesis 5:21-24 or 2 Kings 2:1-12. Don’t blow off someone for their opinion, Elaine, when clearly you don’t know the bible as well as you think.

Michelle Obama spoke in Pensacola yesterday and she was lovely! Very friendly and approachable. I personally think Cindy McCain is the stiffest person I have ever seen in my life or at least that is how she appears on TV. But, she could like Michelle — totally at ease in person.

Is the Hillary the greatest or what? She really stepped up to plate and hit a homerun in support of Obama. And Joe Biden makes a comment and those Republicans sure can spin it in the way they want. I figure they are just in withdrawal from knowing their days of power are soon to be over. And someone above mentioned the checks and balances system of our government. It has nothing to do with political parties; it has to do with branches of government—the judicial, legislative, and executive. Now to the good stuff — I wish Jennifer Aniston nothing but the best. If John Mayer makes her happy, more power to her. And probably ALL of us have returned to someone briefly who is totally inappropriate just because the sex was so freaking good!

I don’t believe I called you a racist or any other name for that matter. I was pointing out that you don’t have an original reason for why you can’t vote for Obama. Rather you list proven lie after lie that have been spread through email warnings, many of which I have received from some Republican friends trying to win me over to the dark side!

Sandbee, that article was just amazing!! I could not believe that McCain called his wife the “c” word! He is a man who is so full of anger that he needs to be in therapy! He has issues with his grandfather, father, wife, kids … just so sad when you think about it!

Thank God Americans have the right to vote for whomever they choose for the office President, Star. But instead of listing all the lies that are perpetuated by the Republican Swift-boating community, why don’t you just admit the “real” reason you can’t vote for him?

While no one really knows what was going on with Brad and Jennifer Pitt’s marriage, the bottom line is Brad was married when he started carrying on with Angelina. I found it so strange that Angie would have an affair with a married man because of her outspoken anger with her father for having cheated on her mom. I find the double-standard interesting. They sold photos of all their natural-born children and I find that morally repugnant, and I don’t care that their excuse is that they were giving the money to their own charity. (And it is not just them, I think anyone who would make money off their children are lacking in sense.) Bottom line — I don’t watch their movies. While my little bit doesn’t do squat to hurt them financially, makes me feel better.

I am watching MSNBC on the lead up to the debate and I have to say Pat Buchanan is the most offensive person I have heard, outside of the FoxNews people. He is yelling and hooting and hollering and carrying on. I get that he is for McCain and I know he was one of Nixon’s henchmen, but if MSNBC made Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews tone down their rhetoric, why won’t they do the same to Buchanan?

If Tina Fey doesn’t get an Emmy for this I will be surprised. She just nailed the character to a T!! I laughed so hard, I scared the cat! And what is makes this so interesting is that the same people who thought SNL’s portrayal of Hillary Clinton was so funny now thinks it is wrong of SNL to make fun of their girl Sarah!
