Financial Columnist Liz Peek Asks When Will the Economy Hit Bottom?

Bella Mia, advice your friend to contact HUD (the nut who’s head of it nearly collapsed Dallas’ Housing), and stay in her home - tell her not to move! Negotiate with HUD, now. It will buy her time, and that’s what is needed right now. Over 1,000,000 will lose homes within a month; she does not need to be one of them.

That, dear sister, was no mistake! Read about the PNAC - do! Women are the strongest, most competent leaders in the world; they understand intricacies, others, learn, and talk, but they do not act.

A Whole New Dimension to 'Dear Abby' and wOw on FOX Business Network

about marketing, think we could convince Tiffany that their dangling watch in our faces is not enjoyable? It’s one of their mistaken notions, but the silver heart charm bracelet — reminds me of the “dangle rings” kids wore to death in Texas for years. Yawn.

Which presidential ticket would you prefer?

I liked Edwards, too, and was sorry he withdrew.

It’s truly great, and incredible that a black male, and a female can be in the lead in this race now; however, sexism is so entrenched, the nation would prefer a black male to a woman. It is sad! Just think about all varieties of women, and then about all varieties of black men. Women in America do not win out, no matter what color they are; but Eleanor Holmes Norton once said in a group of us, “One thing we don’t have to put up with, and that’s your honkey men!”

Here Comes the Bride; Where Is Her Dress?

Bless your courage, Ann. I hope everything turned out all right. I remember the blood tests, too. In fact, the doctor told me I could never have children! Taking my fiance back to discuss the ‘finding’ with him, we decided we could adopt as soon as we were through grad school. I conceived in the 2nd month we were married - guess I was more relaxed by then. I had 4 in 4-1/2 years b/c I kept thinking each was a fluke. After visiting John Rock MD and hearing from his own mouth what he foresaw as the “Pill’s” potential impact on women, I didn’t ever consider taking it. So … ;-)

You Haven’t Been to Barcelona Recently? Odd

Traveled throughout Spain, Portugal, and the islands for 5 weeks on my own when I had the opporunity to direct US National Day at the US Pavilion for Expo. Had to tote 7 news reels in their metal cans, and few if any “skycaps,” but I adored the days away from that insufferable location - beefing up the US Pav. was akin to being a one-armed paper hanger, much less keeping the “kids” from falling over in their drugged stupors - drove the U.S. state police nuts, and myself as well. But, Spain is wonderful…the entire region was my home. I even lost my Passport in Gibralter, and the Moroccon soldiers shelted me until it could be found! The UK would not let me back in — until I pulled enough phone calls out of my hat from back in the states. Sheesh. Thank goodness for people who trust me. I’d live in Spain, frankly.

Interesting ‘drop’ of a sponsor’s name.

Are Those Breasts for Real?

Sigh. Women, read National Geographic! You’ll see that bodies vary - naturally. We know inheritance is stemming from the grand-father’s line, so look at those women. Otherwise, realize that the gene-toss isn’t aided by anything you can do, other than to please yourself. It’s obvious, few women here ever wished their Opera pearls would lie flat on their gowns, only to lose the reason from breast cancer. Recon. only marginalizes views of the chest wall in that viscious disease, which women still deny, IRL, and on the Internet. Will we ever be happy from within? It does appear there’s a Stepford Wives thing going on here with the hairdos. Is it really worse than it seems?

Are Those Breasts for Real?

Thank you, Arlene. I thinking the “marketing money” is taking over this once-excellent forum concept. If they can’t fix the spacing problems, we’re not very important, nor are we if we’re not paid for our ideas. We can chat elsewhere.

Whoopi: 'I Don't Think I Was Ever Mean'

to a medical center in NJ, from one in Texas! :-(

Whoopi: 'I Don't Think I Was Ever Mean'

Liz, give it up! Please. Whoopi, you’ve made the view more than tolerable now. The incipid remarks still eek out, (as the one about Obama being “sexy”), but 2 of you there are honest, and appear at least to be self-actualizing people. Its like going to a medical center in Texas from one in Texas! Even the doctors speak openly in NJ!!!! Life is grand. Keep it up, please, if you want to. ;-)

On '60 Minutes:' Still a Chance Al Gore Might Enter the Presidential Race?

Star!??? hey there - woman! Come on, the ‘thing’ about Gore and the Internet was gone long ago. Obama acts his shoe size, that’s his biggest obstacle; he’ll grow up eventually, but not not. McCain’s not much better than the “others” who played around to find trophy wives, but that never grew legs, did it!

On '60 Minutes:' Still a Chance Al Gore Might Enter the Presidential Race?

It will take anyone in the White House 10 years to change a wit. “death of America”? It’s happened already.

On '60 Minutes:' Still a Chance Al Gore Might Enter the Presidential Race?

MistyAnne, you’re grasping at straws. There’s a lot of time yet to decide anything. Let’s hope something floats.
