My traveling bedset, my cd’s and my shower slippers. I love to travel but I know hotels are dirty. The bedset so I can sleep at night, the cd’s to keep the atmosphere peaceful and shower slippers so as not to touch the floors. B&B, Hotels, and Motels I believe are very dirty. Do they wash the bedspreads each time a guest leaves? Do they wipe down the furniture every time a guest leaves? In B&B I was beginning to think the more $ I paid the cleaner it would be but my husband has told me otherwise. :-)

To make Spanish the 2nd language would isolate other immigrant families that speak languages other than Spanish. Those that come to America must learn English and Spanish? While still having our original speech from our Country, if the population explosion is Hispanic that is because they are family oriented. They stay together longer, live closer together and help each other. Many cultures within the American society think “self.” Divorce, living together, going from bed to bedpost are many of the reasons English speaking Americans are in the minority in America. Africans were shipped to America and had their language stripped from them completely by the slave holders. Indians could not speak their Native languages. Other immigrant groups that came here and come here learned the language of the country. Why should Spanish be embraced? When I travel abroad no one speaks to me in English. They speak Italian, Korean, and Spanish etc. No I disagree it can be a choice/option in school which language a child wants to learn not a demand.
