The Palin Book, as Dear Margo Sees It

I don’t even think she’s that attractive. Her collapsed septum makes me wonder just how hard the ’80s were on her.

But what about Obama! Spin!

Deflect, Obama, spin, spin.

She also preaches abstinence and claims it works. No wonder the girl got pregnant. She probably still can’t figure out how it happened having no appreciable sex education. And Palin was still surprised!

Obama, Obama, Obama. Deflect, deflect, deflect. Spin, spin, spin.

The world may have changed, but Christians keep thumping the bible trumpeting it is the word of god and must be adhered to. If you’re going to give fornication and b*st*rd children a pass even though "it is written," why in the world are Christians so tightly wound about gay rights. "The world has changed drastically since the Bible was written." Yes? And? Either it’s the word of god and unchanging or it’s not. You can’t have it both ways. Hypocrisy continues, I guess. No wonder you adore her.

You you think you might ever be capable of responding to a comment about Palin without throwing in some deflection about Obama. When we’re talking about Palin, that is what we’re talking about. This incessant need to engage in non sequitur commentary makes people think you’re afraid of something.

Actually, she didn’t know the college she chose was on the rainy side (didn’t know the different islands are vastly different climates, apparently). Then she hopped to another for a boyfriend, I think it was. She really was not at all serious about education. I think she was only after what my mother called an MRS degree—finding a husband who is college educated (makes money).

You act as though this is the first time she’s been in the media. All this book is is her spin on everything that’s already out there. That hardly makes it reliable information.

Liz Smith: The Apocalypse Arrives – Is It '2012' the Movie or Is It … Sarah Palin in 2012?

I don’t know why someone would deliberately pay more unless they weren’t clued in that the author only gets either a flat rate per unit or percent of wholesale. All you did was probably make a liberal bookstore owner happy.

I get my talking points from unbiased free thought, examining facts, and personal human experience. Just because people don’t agree with you is no reason to slap a label on them so you can be dismissive. I don’t doubt everything you say is true. But I will also add that most likely Katie was shocked and appalled at how enormously vapid Sarah after meeting her, and probably sorry she ever got herself into it… until Sarah made a fool of herself, and then it was golden.

I agree. Poor picked-on Sarah. When you’re a governor you should have privilege! You should be able to do whatever you want and be able to get it through with a smile and overly obnoxious wink.

I know that undoubtedly goes on in state government. It would be naive to think so. So it would be no surprise if she thought she could do it, too. Fair is fair, but there is no fairness in rule breaking. Yeah, people play favorites, but she wasn’t a favorite. She turned out to be a smooth-talker with a sense of entitlement. Maybe it is a bunch of nit-picking, but for anyone who is mature enough to accept personal responsibility (and she NEVER has), no one can pick nits if don’t act like a louse.
