I must admit I would follow the example of Dame Elizabeth Taylor and give so much of the money to AIDS Service Organizations, providing that I would be working in such an organization myself. AIDS is still a deadly disease and a cure must be found.

By adopting all these children from all over the world, the message cannot help but be seen as a tiny United Nations where race and ethnicity all melt into a homogeneous pot. Brad and Angelina love their children and adopt/give birth to many. But I see their motive. They simply want to show the world that all types of people can get along if lessons are learned young enough. In proving this point, the result is: their family. Even if it is not Brad and Angelina, I am sure someone is seeing to each child’s emotional needs. I do not think these children will want for anything. I believe they will all live happy lives. On the flip side, I live in a metropolitan city and I see young welfare mothers under the age of 20 with five children thus far. I see them exhausted and frustrate with their children crying and tugging at them. These mothers have lost their young adulthood. This is where I would like to see a solution.

I certainly have so much admiration and respect for Dame Elizabeth Taylor and how she has assisted millions of those afflicted with AIDS. Her work is neverending and I too believe that so much more work needs to be done. Yes, medications are keeping people alive but taking these medications for decades is a death sentence unto itself. Are we to assume that we are speaking about men over 50? Or all men in general ? 50 is no where near where 50 was 40 years ago. I believe women over 50 possess a kind of magical wisdom. First, they show little fear and as a man, I find that very attractive.

I saw her recently on the sitcom, “How I Met Your Mother”. She was cute, but she is still so very young. I agree with Liz. A tour is too much. She needs peace and needs time to refocus. I think that the MTV awards were no surprise to her. She knew but now I fear that the public may be waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Alfred Hitchcock. I was a radiologic technologist in LA for several years and worked at Cedar- Siani Hospital, 8th Floor, VIP wing. Moments after I took his chest x-ray…he passed away. It was surreal….the entire experience was just like one of his TV episodes. As I x-rayed him, we talked about he being knighted “Sir”. He told me that she Queen of England passes those thing out. Then…he was no more.

Tom Cruise is a very good and caring actor, scientologist or not, I believe that he has the ability to be spellbinding on screen. Though all of his characters may not be 100% sympathetic…you do care about what happens to them. I cannot see this new role being anything different than the other roles, in terms of being an interesting portrayal. He has been around for twenty five years and his films have always done well at the box office. I guess he is picked on because he has the ability and self-confidence to take it.
