Thanks again Mr. Wow. You are like a walking Encyclopedia. Since you had mentioned Princiess Diana, I was six yrs. old when she died in Pt. D’Alma underpass in Paris. We lived 10 mins from the area during the time. The explanation was that they were being chased by overzealous paparazzis. Witnesses declared that the Mercedes Benz they were riding in was at high speed to avoid the following photographers. But someone survived (bodyguard) but refuses to talk. We do love Princess Di. My parents grieved for her untimely death. Children in my grade school cried, including me, as if we loss someone from our family in France.

The posh hotel in Paris where she had her last meal with her friend Dody Fayed was enshrined with tons of flowers for over a week. I do recall vividly.

Thanks Helen Moran and Mr. Wow for your kind replies and insights. You see how history could get so convoluted and twisted. It is the personal accounts of people who are actually there and had eyewitnessed what had occurred. It is the same thing with the 9/11, a lot of people are saying that there was conspiracy factor. What is that all about?

Anyway, I remember reading that MM died alone in her bungalow at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles of drug overdose. So many big names had died the same way before but no personal doctors were investigated unlike what happened to Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson. Elvis Presley was also one victim of OD but his physician was never held accountable.

All of these events happened before my time. By reading this book it opens our eyes to the truth or fallacy that surrounds the assassinations of our great men.(John, Bobby & Martin).

One nagging question, does it mean that the Russian immigrant who was subsequently shot to death and was blamed the sole killer of Pres. John Kennedy is not the killer but was framed and made the fall guy? Is it also true with Sirhan Sirhan? Now, was these so called Mafia ever brought to justice? Is it also true that M.Monroe had an affair with both Kennedy brothers? or was these a product of tabloid journalism?

Hi Liz, Not only Gary Wills but also Joan Ganz Cooney, expecting that if Obama does not reduced unemployment, then, he will definitely be a one-term president. Liz, I agree with you, when a good president is gone, we seems to wished to bring him back. However, there is a danger in a no term limit presidency, it could easily lead to dictatorship and the demise of democracy. Just take a look at Nations ruled by man who does not want to vacate his presidency like Chavez, and other Latin American countries. Or other African nation for that matter. Their people are fed up of their performance but can’t do anything because their Constitution dictates a no term limit presidency.

Hi Joan, If my recollection is correct, the Republicans and the Bush Administration are the ones that got us into this double-war quagmire based upon a mantra that Sadaam Hussein has "WMD" weapons of Mass destruction. Now, everyone knew that was a blatant lie.  We now have a new President Obama to clean up the big mess. When Obama took his victory speech on Nov. 5, 2008, he admitted that he inherited a job awashed with monumental problems, unemployment, war, virus epidemic, recession, etc. He has also envisioned that it will not get resolved overnight. "It will be a long road ahead and lots of hard work".(Quote unquote). 

When someone expects that Pres. Obama can just wisk his "magic wand" and "viola" all problems ironed-out is really not being reasonable. We Americans are all into this. It is not just the President. We need to be part of the solution and assist to "get that car off the ditch" Everyone must push and pull hard. It is quite easy to be an "armchair"
 critique. But it won’t help one bit.

Hi Liz, you are a workaholic. At night just put everything away and get a restful night. Getting up ten times is not helping you get a beauty rest.

I suggest getting a small tape recorder and each time you have a thought or note to write down, just dictate it on your recorder without getting up.

Also, get an IPod Touch to listen to good music that will lullaby you to sleep. But before dozing off, don’t forget to turn-off your IPod.
