wOw Announces Winners to 'Women on Mt. Rushmore' Question of the Day

Question of the day…

What are your impressions of Paul McCartney’s triumphant return to the Ed Sullivan Theater?  Were you in the crowd?

If you could live inside a movie, which would it be?

A few… “a perfect murder” and “someone to watch over me”, two of the most beautiful apartments and wardrobes I’ve ever seen, but “love actually” had the great ending, everyone ends up happy and in love, what’s better than that?

Case Closed: 'Boston Legal' and the Truly Supreme Supremes

BL is far and away the best thing on TVDEK is brilliant as are the actors on the show especially Spader, Shatner and Candice. The show caters to adults, which is strange and wonderful in the otherwise wateland of reality crap that passes today as entertainment. I hope and pray it gets picked up for next season. Liz, can you find out from Candice and let us know?

Why do you live where you do? How rooted are you to that place?

Born and raised in Chicago…I live across the street from Lake Michigan and wake up every day to the sunrise over the lake. When there is a full moon the light of the moon and it’s reflection off the lake lights up my living room. I can walk everywhere, my commute to work is 5 miles and the neighborhood is one of the best in the city. I am home.

Whoopi: 'Ma, Don't Freak Out. But, Yes, This Is Marlon Brando'

I so agree with you Maggi D - These little tales are the reason I keep coming back here. What an incredible experience to be able to share with your friends and your MOM! Wow

Today is Earth Day! What's the most wasteful thing that you do?

Yo Yo Ro… I do the same thing. I also drive to work when I could take the RTA but I refuse to spend an hour on smelly public transportation for a 6 mile commute.

'wOw Friend' Diane Dimond: In My Constitutionally Protected Opinion, Anthony Pellicano Is Guilty

What a truly scary story… I hope Mr Pellicano gets what he deserves.

Hot Star on TV, in Movies, in Big Business and in the Nursery: Tina Fey in Person!

I agree jm, LOvE Tina and think she and Alec Baldwin are hilarious together… Liz Smith is brilliant and I’d follow her anywhere she told me to go.

'We Used to Never Acknowledge Them, Today They're Our Badges of Success'

Well I wondered how long it would take…The indignant reaction to this conversation is ridiculous. OBVIOUSLY there is a difference in the socioeconomic status of the ladies who own this site and those of us who come here to see and hear what they’re up to. Get a grip.

On '60 Minutes:' New Machine to Kill Cancer Without Drugs, Radiation, Surgery or Side Effects

Seriously Ken, you’re bringing me down with these questions. Of course Medicare won’t cover this - they just barely cover drugs for God sakes.

Lunch with the Friaresses and More

I’ve eaten “lamb fries” in Lexington, KY after a day of racing at Keeneland. Same treat, different animal, different city. I’m told the key to this treat is how far you pull down before you make the snip.

Who was more important to you, your father or your mother?

Father or Mother… I was close to both. When my mother died nine years ago it literally knocked the wind out of me for a solid year. When my father died two years later, it was like losing her all over again. I miss them both but dream about her frequently and miss her every day.

What are the three dumbest things you spend money on?

The $15 Tocca laundry soap that’s supposed to be for your hand wash “intimates” that I now use in the washer for my sheets, towel and T-shirts because it smells so good?

Have you noticed rising prices? What is costing you more this month?

I live in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago and paid $3.84 a gallon for gas last week. A trip to the grocery on Saturday to pick up a few things cost me $90 - seriously maybe 15 items. Thinks are spinning out of control.
