What Is It About Adam Lambert? by Allegra Huston
I’m in NJ. I don’t think I’ll be going to the AI concert b/c I think I would resent all of the time that the other idols are on stage. I almost succumbed and bought tickets, but I would rather wait until he releases his cd and tours on his own. Hopefully, that will be very soon. Also, I’m counting on all the other Adam fans to post videos of his performances on youtube and then I can watch just him!!!
Its not that I’m not devoted. When he was doing the morning shows in NY last week, I woke up at 5:30 and drove into NY to try and get standby seats to Regis and Kelly so that I could see him. My kids refused to go with me at that hour. I got there at 6:30 and I was number 44 in line! The entire standby line was just there for Adam. In fact, when a staff member pointed out Regis walking to the studio, hardlly anyone even bothered to take a picture. To make a long story short, I only got to see him get out of an SUV and get shuttled into the studio by his AI handlers. It was so disappointing. They wouldn’t let him interact with the fans, even though he clearly wanted to. As it turned out, no one from the standby line got in. They gave all the tickets (if there were any in the first place) to VIPs.
Can’t wait till he does his own thing!!!

Never mind twins, I think we have discovered long lost triplets!!! Everything is the same, except my daughter is 17 and my son is 15, and they think I’ve completely lost my mind. Adam must have this magic over 40something attorneys! I’m supposed to be doing work, except I also find myself youtubing him constantly. I used to think of myself as fairly rational, and when my best friend went crazy over David Cook last year, I sort of (smugly) humored her and thought to myself "get over it, he’s good, but he’s just a singer." Now that I am completely smitten with Adam, she is having the last laugh!! At least she can commiserate with me. BTW, she claims that the craziness never goes away completely, it just subsides to a manageable level eventually. Well, at least we have eachother.
This is also my first posting ever b/c I never felt the need before. To the first poster, which venue would you be going to for the AI concert?
