Maybe the First Lady should have gotten together a “we are the world” group of designers to design a kinda “patchwork” gown to reflect all the peoples. And then no group would have felt left out of her wardrobe. This topic is just stupid to me.

I’m not at all impressed with G. Patterson. I think he blew being elected. As for Caroline Kennedy, I think she would have made a good Senator for NY. But she was clearly not prepared for the spotlight and some who do not like the Kennedy brand. She should have known better and been ready for the push back. Does’nt seem anyone was advising her about the down side of politics.

I just did not like the First Lady’s dress today. The color was ok. I hated the gloves. It was a nice outfit but not for her in my opinion. The little ones looked darling.

I was on the Mall in Washington today and was quite moved by her words. Everyone around me (toe to toe, back to back) got very quiet. I am totally a new fan.

Lady Gator, I do so hope there will be a rainbow in the sky when President Elect Obama takes his oath on Tuesday. What a wonderful idea!

I’ll be on the Mall on Tuesday enjoying this historic moment. This is what I’ve always hoped for since my first Presidential vote many years ago. I’m trying to figure out now how to get to the Mall. I’m hoping to see the swearing in at the Lincoln Memorial on one of the Jumbotron’s, then I’ll make my way back up town home or stop by a friend’s home. Also, want to take some pics for my family. It’s going to be cold and hard to get to but my heart tells me to go and push thru the difficulty of getting there.
