I am very disappointed to learn that Oberman does not vote! I take voting very seriously not just this election. It is our responsibility as an American Citizens. And, it greatly contributes to our democracy. When I turned 18 it was the first thing I did, register to vote and I worked in Hubert Humphrey’s campaign. He lost. But that’s not the point. Americans, men and women, have lost their lives, been beaten, harrassed, for the right to vote. I just don’t get Oberman on this. I dont’ buy his “journalistic objectivity” response or whatever he said. What the hec is that about? I was about to watch his show that I try to watch each night at 8p. But not tonight. I’ll have to think about how this new info about him changes my view of him and his opinions about everything.

The 55m voted for McCain/Palin in 2008, I would hope on the issues that support their USA, Global view, etc. How many of this “55m” voted for President Bush in 2004? Look where we are now because of their votes. I wonder how “patient” they have been in the last four or eight years. Today we have a huge mess that many of the 55m now expect President Elect Obama to fix immediately. President Elect Obama is way too intelligent to make decisions because some of the 55m voters are “impatient”. I voted for President Elect Obama (not the “him”) and I too am impatient for improvement. But these issues are not simple and not for the ‘….’;

Not at all. I live with a cat, she’s 14 years old and very special to me. She does her thing I do mine. Dogs are different, require more attention. Perhaps the new President Elect’s family will consider a kitty in the future. They are a wonder to observe and marvel at their antics and the way they adapt to their environment. Cats are very independent as all you kitty lovers know.

I am preparing to go to work although I am very tired from watching the election returns. First thing this am 11/5 I turned on Morning Joe. I immediately began addressing my TV vocally. The show was already lambasting the new President Elect Adm. about how inadequate it would be. It was all about Joe and Mika. But I had to go to work so I got up and did my am routine and well—- went to work. My thought after listening to the mostlly “negative” talking pundits was can’t you let the President Elect get some sleep, have breakfast and get dressed before he has to “save the world” by next Friday. The expectations from many are very high. Let’s hope they are not set to ensure his failure. Unfortunately, I belive this is so, these talking heads justify their existance by tearing down for the most part public servants. The real journey for America begins now. Yes we can!

Majorie C You ‘cling to’ McSame&McPalin, quite possibly the most unqualified “woman” for VP ever, “Why on God’s green earth did the Repubs/others choose McCain while there are literally Hundreds of Thousands of other men and women (of diverse backgrounds, race, including White, ethnicity, sex, individuals w/ a disability, etc.,) McCain and his divisive campaign is what you should be thinking about not a trumpted up negative statement about Presidential Canidate Barack Obama. The embarrassment is the McCain Presidential Campaign.

I don’t care for Tom Brokaw. Sarah Palin is not a tribute to the women’s movement. She is an opportunist in my opinion. Why else would she accept/run for VP when she is so unqualified for the job. What comes to my mind is token.
