I’m tired of all these women, Eliz Edws, Spitzer, Hillary, etc., who dont take a stand for themselves. I could care less about the men having affairs but the tolerance level by the wives to get their needs met appears that they are all loosing. Elections, self respect, public respect, life………

I too have experienced this at various events, meetings, etc. I also realize, I may be the oldest, but also the one with the youngest enthusiasm, ability to juggle and flow and feel comfortable with myself. A great and prideful moment!

Though we won’t have a woman president, it is validating to see one of these ladies in the White House that I can relate to: Strong, articulate, educated, giving, personable, sophisticated, forthcoming, sharing, confident, vocal, attractive:(core, physical, personality), purposeful, loyal, dedicated, friendly and approachable. Either one of these women I would enjoy and be honored to share a cup of coffee while discussing life, politics or just sharing a friendship.

Elizabeth, sorry took so long as I have been working. I totally agree with you, a mess, yet one that has got more attention in politics than previous years. We have all different cultures, races, religions, etc., paying attention and forming discussion, even if they aren’t voting. I hear this daily in my therapy practice. I too as a feminist, long term democrat probably won’t vote democrat this year unless a major change happens, but I am appreciative of all of the candidates holding strong. Thanks for the reply.

Hillary is not responsible for creating the division among democrats, the voters are! Graceful exit? What does that look like? When you finish your race and note you have lost, then you make that exit. I would never encourage any woman who has spent their life fullfilling their dream to give up when it gets tough.

Of course Hillary should stay in till the end. Would you start a project, run a race, swim only half way across the pool or would you finish what you set out to do? Reach your goals by believing in yourself and not giving up! I personally would prefer to have cup of coffee with Leslie and Cokie and don’t agree with alot of Hillary’s philosophy or mannerism in her presenations, but ladies, we have all come such a long way!! I encourage all women to be determined, not give up on themselves, figure out who they are and what they want and go for it! Hillary may not fit all of my needs and views but isn’t it exciting to see a woman of reslience continue to get noticed in the political arena for something beyond a cheating husband.

I am curious and excited about Obama coming on the View today. I am disappointed with Rev. Wright and feel he attempted to sabotage Obama’s future. This was probably done unconciously and he got carried away in his services needing excessive attention. Here is a wonderful man who has attended his church for many years, learning and listening on the values of public speaking and yet Obama has never uttered such demeaning and “ungodly” statements. I personally would remove myself from Rev Wright’s backlash but this will be OBama’s decision. Could Rev Wright been overly zealous and slightly jealous that one of his protogee’s has succeed in having people unite despite differences and color?
