While wearing it, what makes you feel sexiest?

Frannie!!!!!! That’s priceless. He certainly did and I haven’t thought of that in years. I had to go watch it on you tube and there he is in all his big foot glory! I, of course, would be much more dainty!!! (In my dreams).

Are you in favor of the death penalty in the United States?

If we as a species were infallible and could always be trusted to “do the right thing” toward our fellow man, that is one story. Alas, we are not infallible. We bear false witness, take bribes, look the other way, make deals, and the list goes on. In this environment with all the above factors, I CAN NOT support the death penalty. All I had to do to come to this conclusion was imagine I had been on a jury that wrongly convicted someone to death. If later evidence proved the persons innocence, how could I live with myself? That is happening rather frequently in this country, with DNA evidence brought to light. The justice system is not perfect, but neither are we.

While wearing it, what makes you feel sexiest?

I am tall, almost 6’, and have big feet, so sexy shoes are IT for me. I suppose it is because I could never find any in my size for so many years. Ah, the elusive Big Sexy Shoe. Kinda sounds live Shel Silverstein’s “Big Scary Tree” :-)

My Name Is Liz and I'm an Addict

Ki B - Yes, it hails from Britain. Usually it’s used after giving instructions, or an explanation. It roughly translates to “And there you have it”. An example would be “Make a left on Main St., go down 3 blocks, turn right and Bob’s your Uncle”.

The Cougar: A wowOwow Definition

Frank - My French being what it is (or isn’t) I’m assuming that your above phrase translates as “To each his own” or “Whatever Floats Your Boat”. Totally agree, in any case.

Frank - I meant to ask, any titles you can recommend by Alan Furst?

Have you ever stolen anything?

Face it, Kitty and Maurine! You’re both going to Book Karma Purgatory until the librarian there can figure this thing out!!!

Liz - Since we are all addicts, is there a 12 Book Program that you know of?

My Name Is Liz and I'm an Addict

Will do, Cap’n Frank! I had already made a note of it. BTW, my business partner ALWAYS says “Bob’s yer Uncle” - it made me LOL to see you say it today!

Oh, Liz, I love a good thriller. Nothing like it during summer vacation. Thanks for the wise counsel and testimonial.

Have you ever stolen anything?

Either way, he’d be gone!

What do you like most about the gym? What do you like the least?

Much too crowded for me. Took yoga at the local YMCA, but during Shavasana (the finishing, relaxing sequence) the door kept being opened by little kids waiting for their class to begin. They would look through the glass pane in the door (of course, we were all on our mats on the floor so we could not be seen) and not seeing anybody they would open it. Then it would bang shut. Multiply this by 15 or 20 times and the result was not very relaxing. I’ve thought about joining a gym, but realize I like the solitude of walking or exercising alone with my thoughts. That, and I don’t have to brush my teeth before I go. The thing I would like is the expertise of the trainers, etc., and all the varied equipment.

Have you ever stolen anything?

Yes. Yes, I have. Oh, did you want details? I’m sorry, that information is classified. Well, since you forced me, I’ll confess: Candy from the local store. Mom wondered where I got it and then marched me back to the scene of the crime, where I had to confess my evil ways. The nice grocer told me never do do it again and gave me another candy bar. Lesson learned. Until a few years later, I was caught with a 45 record by the security detail at the Broadway Dept. Store in Hollywood. They didn’t press charges. Lesson learned. And stuck this time. It was either that, or juvie. :-)

Losing One Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds

Star - I like that, even if it’s a typo! Very evocotive, I’m gonna use it!!
