I’m a Californian, a mom, a sister, and someone who copes in every day life with everyday struggles.  I have no desire to attend this conference or hear anything that these speakers have to say.  I still think Mrs. Edwards is a strong woman, but wish she would not be parading around her tale of dealing with a cheating spouse.  It’s just all too familiar and distressful.  If she is sticking by him, then let it die down Elizabeth.  Let it go, or leave him.  As to having Kate Gosselin, aka Mommy Dearest, on the panel, what in the world are the organizers thinking?  This is a woman who publicly spanked the heck out of one of her little ones in front of papparazzi, calls her boys icky and nasty, and makes her children work long hours to support her lavish lifestyle.  Why in the world would any woman want to listen to what Kate Gosselin has to say?  Seriously, the panel who chose her should be ashamed.
