Whoopi Goldberg: We Have Finally Become Part of the Fabric of the United States of America

I do not think of him as being a black man. I think of him as being a person who is, hopefully, able to lead our country out of the mess we are in after 8 years of GWB, and Republican governing. I understand the joy black America is experiencing, but it is truly an all inclusive joy, IMO, no matter what the race.

Are 'Mom Jeans' Back?

I prefer to think of them as grandmommy jeans. LOL! Mommy or grandmommy jeans can be much more suitable and flattering to some women, IMO.

Women Migraine Sufferers May Be Less Likely to Develop Breast Cancer

File this under ‘yet another long line of research studies’ which fails to prove anything. Who believes all of these studies? Not I.

Whoopi Goldberg: Let People Have as Many Kids as They Please if They Can Afford It

I agree as I do with most of your opinions. OT: Don’t wear those awful dresses anymore. ;) LOL!

Liz Smith: Remembering Paul Newman … Celebrating Shia LaBeouf … Explaining Meg Ryan

Congrats to Shia LaBeouf! He has the top movie of the week, “Eagle Eye,” costarring Michelle Monaghan. This is Shia’s fourth straight film to break in at No. 1. Hooray for Shia! They say he will be one of the biggest stars of the younger generation. I think he is great! He is a very charismatic guy, and a good actor, IMO.

Hasselbeck 'Really Upset' With 'The View'

IMO, Elisabeth goes out of her way to find fault with the most minute detail in any given conversation. Then she works herself into a frenzy. I had the distinct impression that she would go flying right out of her seat during the past week. She became so hyper and emotional, and rarely comes up for air. LOL! I was glad that Barbara attempted to put her in her place. She does add spice to the show, but why must she pick every conversation to death?

Margo Howard: Thanks, Sandra Bernhard, for the Palin Jokes. Like We Needed This

Excuse me, but why are we discussing that nasty Sandra Bernhard? Eeeeuuuuu, how she has ever gotten where she is is totally beyond me. IMO, she must be related to someone to get parts, and do routines, and get press coverage. Never could stomach her, and hubby has an even worse opinion of her. Although I am an Obama supporter, and think Ms. S. Palin is nothing but a political ploy, who heaven help us, if McCain wins, and anything shoud befal lhim, big trouble, IMO, should she step in as Pres. there is no need for Ms. Bernhard to trash heer in such a disgusting manner. She is soooo NOT classy. And what are people thinking when they actually give McCain serious consideration as a candidate? He is, after all, the same person who laughingly made fun of war with the Beach Boys song, Bombbombbombbombbomb Iran. Absolutely revolting to think anyone would vote for him. He, above all, should know that war is nothing to joke about. He has a warped sense of humor, and is definitely NOT for country first, but McCain first, by choosing Ms. S. Palin as his running mate. Eeeuuuu, how disgusting is that? He would leave us in the hands of this person at one of the most difficult times in our country’s history. As a Hillary supporter, it disgusts me to no end seeing Ms. S. Palin out there giving speeches. Who is she kidding, hardly credible, IMO. BooHiss!

Liz Smith Exclusive: Billie Jean King Says if Barack Had Taken Hillary, It Would Have Been a Landslide

I loved watching Billie Jean King play tennis years ago, and I remember watching her with Bobby Riggs. IMO, he was a real PITB. LOL! She opened a lot of doors for women, IMO. As to the Hillary thing, the Dems. will only have themselves to blame if they blow this one. After all, the major Dems. did not want her, not even for VP. And Obama’s advisors detested her so much she was not even considered! I hope they are happy with their over confidence that Obama did not need Hillary. They have awakened the sleeping giant again, I fear……..we shall see how it unfolds very soon. I am pro Obama, but I was also pro Hillary. It is rubbish what the Repubs. are doing, the masters of divisiveness and distraction. The American people are falling for their tactics again, hook, line and sinker. I am afraid the voters are not concentrating on issues, but on personal stories, and how they can relate to someone. Helloooo? I can relate to the neighbor down the street, but there is no way inheck I would want her to be vP. Good grief!

What is your favorite time of day?

Lately, my fav part of the day is when I am asleep. It used to be mornings.

Barbra Streisand Talks Politics

I can’t get past the Prince of Tides star comment. Huh? I can hardly believe anyone would introduce her as such considering her long, and very successful singing, and acting career.

HBO Executive Producer Sheila Nevins on the Making of 'Heidi Fleiss: The Would-Be Madam of Crystal'

Ugh! Heidi Fleiss? I fail to understand the facination, why people keep writing about this total bi*ch! Surely, there is someone else more worthy of the media attention……

Will Angelina and Brad Pitt Split Before Babies' First Burps?

Pimping them out? Not! More like raising money and awareness for charities through these photo ops. They do a lot of good that others do not. Since when is charity, through money, volunteer work, and action, things to condemn? Rather, they should be applauded. It is absolutely disgusting that NOLA is still in such a sorry state 3 years since the Katrina hurricane. Brad and Angelina have a home there, and Brad has donated much money and voluteered time, raised awareness, spent energy, and used his talents to help with the housing situation there. They also have a houseful of children they love. Jennifer Anniston could not give Brad what he desperately wanted, but Angelina could, and did. Good for her, and, IMO, good for them.
