What is the one question you would ask Whoopi Goldberg if you had the opportunity to sit down with her?
Tell us your story. I love how your silence speaks volumes on The View.

wOw Reports: What News Matters to You – And Why?
News items that have caught my attention:
1. Remote Area Medical Clinic www.ramusa.org, non profit originally set up for treating people in remote areas, has been in LA at the Forum providing medical care since last Tues and will continue until this Tues. By the numbers for the 1st 3 days - patients, 2260; value of medical care $815,251; pulled teeth 706; fillings 1,640, cleanings 872; pair of glasses made 556; mammograms 141; family practice exams 2,721; volunteers 1,680. (Info provided by OC Register)
2. Three recent college graduates using their graduation gift money for random acts of kindness as they travel across the country. Their gifts included helping a Chicago family with rent. Kudos to the recent grads - I am feeling better about the future with individuals like this.
What passage or passages from a book, poem, short story or other literary work moved you so much that you've never forgotten it?

Joan, You are right it was your recommendation to read the Piano Tuner. I really liked it and have added ait to my list of books I recommend. I thought you might like to know I have a separate list of the books you recommend. I always enjoy reading your posts and decided I could depend on you to give good reading recommendations.
