My Robbery Drama: Chapter Three

Yvonne Angelastro I just read about your watch being stolen and I can empathize. When Diana and Charles got married, I was in the UK. I bought a watch from Mappin and Webb, the jewelers to Her Royal Highness. The watch had Diana’s and Charles’ faces on the face of the watch. A few years ago,I had electrical work done in my house and had left the watch on my bureau. I forgot that I had left it there. The watch was stolen. I still have the case in which it came. I still grieve when I remember it. I know that I will never see it again It was not insured. I hope that you will find yours. I do know the awful feeling. Good luck!

PRINCESS DIANA! Remember Her?

Liz, not only do I remember Diana’s untimely death but I was in The UK when she got married. I bought a watch from Mappin and Webb, jewelers to Her Majesty. The face of the watch had her face and Charles’ face. A few years ago, I had electrical work done in my house and the watch was stolen. I still have the case that it came in and until this day, I am upset that the watch was stolen. It was not insured. I read about Lesley Stahl’s watch being stolen and I empathize with her. I am still hurt over it.
