My guess is she’s sick or was sick. She certainly looks stressed. Too bad, my heart goes out to her.

I was always close to my Dad. He would be in his workshop in the basement building stuff and I would be right there next to him, helping , cleaning up, learning. We talked about everything. He showed me some of the most important things I’ve learned in my life, and to this day, when a plumbing problem comes up, my husband will almost always say, “You should know how to fix this, your Dad must have showed you how.” I miss him terribly, (he died in 1991) but I still have all the wonderful memories and knowledge that he gave me and I wouldn’t change a thing about being Daddy’s little helper. He was the perfect man, husband, and father and I truly believe he made me the woman, wife and mother I am today. Not that I’m perfect, but at least I know what it looks like.

I don’t think I could ever find refills for the friends I have. They may not be many in number, but they are long in duration and we are to “ingrown” to bother with refills. I wouldn’t think being a refill would be comfy either. Always being 2nd?

junk food, cigarettes and shoes…………

I’ve had my own room now for 3 years, and while I like the sleep, I doo miss the touch of someone next to me when I wake unexpectedly from a dream or just reach out. I do have the dog though, and she doesn’t expect anything else so hey! not all bad huh?

Really Honey, your going to love moving to California. My mom can’t wait for us to live out there by her. Your gonna just love her! I promise, we’ll visit your family here in Michigan every year!

My first wedding dress was blue…and I SWEAR! there will NEVER be a 2nd one!

I would like to spend one hour with my very best friend when I was growing up. His name was Todd, and he died when we were 16 years old. I miss him still to this day, (at 52!) and would cherish just one more hour to talk and laugh with him like we use to, and show him pictures of my son who I named after him.

Children learn what their parents teach……so look to the parents and make THEM responsible for the kids’ treatment of Billy and it might quit. And where are the teachers and admin for Billy’s school? Do they also have blinders on?

I had to have some dental work done this month and the price of that is even going up! Groceries! Thank God for gardens!!! Gas! I have actually declined to go see relatives who I CARE about, because I don’t want to use the gas. Hubby and I spent yesterday at home for this reason, and yes, so far, Costco IS the cheapest for gas all around, but keep watching. As for buying those “little things”, grandkid gifts and such? I find if I’m tempted to buy something now, I make my self go look at books first. That way, if I’m going to spend money on stuff they don’t need, at least it’s good stuff!

I am going to make a ham dinner for a husband who won’t appreciate it, take my dog for a long walk to the park and watch other families have fun and hunt for eggs and such.
