Meghan is smart enough to make her own decisions and statements.  If she were not John McCains’ daughter she would not be in the news.

How many children do you all know that don’t disagree with their parents on many issues.? That is part of growing up.

I like John McCain and hope he is very proud of hsi daughter.  The whole subject makes for interesting news bites but it will die down.

I am an Obama person. 

Considering that the British press is not fond of Mr Brown it seems like they are just glad to have something positive to say.  The Guardian UK also brought up the subject of Mr Brown being dissed.  They just do not understand snowstorms and the Obama’s need to learn more diplomacy.  The Obama’s were not raised with the political lies and schemes and delusions that some of our more recent presidents were. 

I think  we have a good president and wife and family so lets stop the pettiness on our side.  Give them a chance to learn the ropes. Just hope they don’t become changed by the the hidden agenda politics now existing in DC and all other states.

 I know D.C. is not a state.

I wear sleeveless dresses with Jackets because they are comfortable and I like the line.  And I take the jacket off when I please. When I get to be the next President in my next life who knows what I will wear? My wrinkled old arms look good to me. 

There is no last word on this subject when there are 14 children under 7 to consider. For example; who is taking care of the six at home when mom nadya is out making televison visits etc?  Dr Phil is not someone I would consult although he is a nice man.  But he is right when he says that this woman is in and out of reality. Out of touch with reality is a bad thing when you need to give love and attention and care to 14 young children.  I hope that DPS gets involved in L.A. and is able to help Nadya make realistic choices.  Adoption is one choice. Caretakers at the home 24 hours a day is another. A place to live for that many children .  Health care which all of them will need forever.  Lots of health care for the Special Needs children which is inevitable.  

We the taxpayers of L.A. county will be contributing forever.  But the children come first.  Last word.. Don’t be surprised if she has more.  She is not living in our reality. 

I am glad Liz that you had the hutzpah to write about Rush Lightweight.  He has apparently put the fear of God in some people. Hurrah for you.

As for Rhianna, lets hope she comes to her senses.  Perhaps it might help if she went into counseling too and got some insight into why she stays with Chris. The statistics are not in her favor.

As for Liz Taylor being 77 she is amazing. I saw her up close at a Veterans hospital when she was visiting with Peter Lawford. She was absolutely beautiful and only 16 at the time. Her eyes just stood out with her coloring.  Peter wasn’t bad either. She has survived so much.  I hope for the best for the future. 

WoW what a mixture of minds on this blog.  Why not debate without getting personal and calling names and doubting bloggers sexual identity.?  It is not necessary. It may seem interesting to some but it is grating.  First of all this was a ridiculous question. I would not put a child in any care system with any of the above personalities.  I want someone who has time to devote to each child as much as possible.

 But I have to admit the mean remarks capture attention. 

Teddy is a tale of redemption.  The baby of the family who inherited an obligation to be a support for the families of his murdered brothers, he has done well.  In taking on the responsibilites of the fatherless children he chose the right way.  He grew up and took responsibility and contributed to the country as a Senator.

Anyone who was around in the sixties or seventies can see that he outlived his useless playboy stage.  I think the Kopechne family have probably forgiven him.  He comes from an addictive family which is pretty evident by now.  Addiction to drugs, alcohol, fame or sex is not unusual.  Most ordinary people do not have to answer for every mistake they make in life.  

I admire him for what he has done in the last 30 plus years.  I hope he can survive his brain tumor problems but if not he will be missed in the Senate and by his family.

These 16 children should be the primary focus for the future.  Even if someone sponsors them and they are raised well and disabilities treated. Things happen.  

 I can tell you that sometimes death happens as is inevitable. In my family my mother had six children even though she had a heart defect from a childhood illness.  She left the family with a sudden heart attack leaving five children below the age of 13. We were taken care of by family luckily but it was not an easy road.  Along the way my five year old sister ran away from me at a park when I was seven and was killed by a drunk truckdriver.  That is something that can happen when the "older " children are mothering the younger ones.  We were lucky and grew up healthy etc and happy as children even in the circumstances.  But I think families with 7, 8, 16 children should not be used as good examples for other young vulnerable women.

  It is a womans’ right to choose today and picturing an idyllic life when supported by donors orTV shows does not make it easier. Judy K is right.
