I just watched the funeral of Ted Kennedy.  What a great man.  On a lesser note..what happened to his first wife Joan?  It was really sad that her children were not with her.  I realize his second wife "saved his life’ but I just can’t help what Joan thinks of all this.  My heart goes out to all the family emembers.

oh my God..I have died and gone to heaven.  Thank you to all the women who have put a list of books out.  I am a woman abuse/trauma therapist and I can’t thank the people at WOW and the women who have responded to this awful nightmere that is happening to woman and their children.  I’ll sleep sound tonight .  For every male abusor I have met..he came from the most horrendous home..if we can stop abuse…what a world we would have!  THANK YOU ALL !!!!

Ok Ok I’ve about had it.  The mother for many reasons stood by and let her husband abuse her children.  And now people say it would be a good idea to have his mother raise the grand children.  When her husbnad is an abuser…what is wrong with people!  Someone please save these children.  Wake up and smell the burned coffee…those children need a safe heaven from their grandfather and the media.  My heart goes out to them!

My high school books got ruind in a flooded basement.  Surprisingly I don’t miss them as much as I thought I would.  Onward and upward!

My mother gave me the gift of spending time with other mothers…usually my best friend’s mothers.  My mother was an awful mother , mainly because she had had an awful childhood, and I’d like to think a small part of her realized this and allowed me to spend time with three other mothers in my life who were fabulous to me and with me.  Thanks Mom.  and yea Mother Nature is pretty cool!

I’d go back to school and take something I would love to take but don’t have the time now.  I would love to improve my skills as a therapist…there is always room to learn new ways of doing therapy.  What a great idea!  What a great question…thanks!

I’ve been using AVON stuff for years and I love it.  Now I am proud to say my daughter using it as well.  Happy Holidays!

I’m finding WOW boring and more white than white bread…in these hard times why are fashion people ..even a question.  Good grief there has to be better stuff out there to talk about.  Who can afford those clothes anyway or would want to!

As a woman abuse/trauma worker I was very sadden by her decision.  However someone wrote "hope strings eternal" and that is the problem.  If someone is abusive towards you they are not going to change until they admit their behavior and get help.  Not just a few anger management sessions it is much deeper than that.  What is truly sad is often guys who abuse come from horrific backgrounds and then their is the macho belief that guys who seek out counselling are wimps.  Just look at the number of PTSD guys coming back from the war that choose suicide rather than therapy.  That is truly heart breaking.  Woman need to take care of themselves first and raise their sons with the notion that therapy is a good thing and does not make you a "wimp: if you seek help.  Men need to "man up" and get help.

I know this may be a bit late but we loved having Obama visit us up North.  This may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.  (I know I stole that from Casablanca)

In Canada we do it everytime a soldier losses his or her life.  It is a way to honour our brave people in the forces and it reminds us that war is not to be taken lightly.  What you don’t see sometimes gets forgotten and human life is too precious to not see and honour.

Is anyone else appalled and upset about the bankers who got a s…load of your taxpayer money and GAVE THEMSELVES BONUSES I mean talk about more nerve than a very bad toothache. Is anyone screaming about this?
