WOW…PEOPLE of New York City THANK YOU. My husband and I went to NYC to celebrate our 38 wedding anniversary (no one is more surprised than we are!). It was right after the election and people were friendly. The City was clean and the subways were actually fun. People were talking with each other and very helpful. The last time I was in NYC there were signs in the subway saying not to make eye contact. Anyone thinking of going the the Big Apple…go and have a big bite it is really great ! Could this be a sign of the times…that people will be more friendly with each other and not so polarized?

Wow Sherri moved me to tears and I am so proud of Elizabeth for saying what she did. That is what America is about. I immigrated from America during the Vietnam war and today for the first time in a long time I thought Wow America is really going to show off her grand potential and greatness. Thank you all for voting in such large numbers and for electing hope !

Ok Ok I’m really nervous now. If John does well and funny on SNL can that turn this election around and can he win? Help very nervous in Canada!

No I’m not getting dressed up ..but I’ll be out there handing out candy. I love seeing the kids in their neghborhood dress up. I even have candy for the parents. It’s a great night and it was warm last night so it was really fun. Have a great one! ( the real scary night is Nov. 4th!)

The ones that have lost everything because of a mental health problem that has robbed them of their job and are now forced to live on social assistance, Drives me nuts that these people are penalized for coming down with a disease that no one has answers to. (Thanks I feel better for getting that off my chest!)

Wow that was pretty right on for me. I’ll be 64 in two weeks and to my dismay I still can’t come to terms with the way my face is. But that one comment about how at 80 I wished I had this face really helped to put it in perspective. It is true my marriage is more important to me and I’m more grateful for more things in life. Rock on ladies…. we truly are great and getting greater!

gc..I really liked what you had to say and echo your thoughts. If pro-life people stepped up to the plate and put their actions where their mouth is it would be a better place. I can’t imagine the pain a parent went through to leave their children. Here is Canada we have Children Aid Societies where you can go for help. It may not be perfect but it is a place where families can get help. Most of the Children Aid Societies offer counseling rather than take children into to care. Giving a child up leaves huge trauma for both the child and the parent. May God go with them all.

Finally he is in jail where he truly belongs….kinda makes you believe in justice again!

Wow what a guy and a true mench..which is Jewish for a very fine human being. One who put his money where his mouth is..from our family to yours…he will be truly missed and remember as a great person and multi talented. Our hearts go out to you all!

I’ll be 64 in a little over a month from now. The most significant change for me is…my face has fallen… I look in the mirror and I wonder who in hell is that lady. I know I will get use to it but frankly it is a shock. Like so many of you women I do worry more but that comes with life. I try to remember all the good things in my life and that helps. Oh well ….the alternative to aging is not acceptable so on with the battle! Have a great weekend!

I gotta tell ya’all…my husband is the sexy man I know over 60! And that’s after 38 years of marriage. The next on my list is Clint Eastwood. I must say this is a nice change from the financial stuff and far less depressing. I don’t drink but I may start if I watch any more news either from the US or up here (Canada).
