There is such a thing as research and reaching one’s own conclusions based on intellect and education, Frank. As for Medicare fraud and abuse—if they could stop it, do it now! Wow—we would save zillions. Tell your guy—do it now!

What specifics did he explain?  Did he guarantee that the bill would lower current insurance rates for the self employed?  NO.

Also, maybe I am dense, but how to these proposals mean that your plan, obtained from an employer, is portable to the next job? 

 

So…..? That was my line! Because the previous admin did something or didn’t do something, does that mean whatever the next admin does is correct? The plan the pres laid out the other night will increase the deficit by at least a trillion. They can say they won’t send any bill to him that increases the deficit. This is all nonsense. Word salad…

You mean the part where no FEDERAL money will be used for illegal immigrants, but they can buy into a plan subsidized by federal money (one version) or the part where no one asks if they are legal in the first place?

You saw racism in Wilson’s face? I am no defending his shoutout—it has been too distracting about the real misrepresentations (like that better than lies?). I don’t come out of the fire house on this racism stuff—a biracial man can be as evasive as a non-biracial man? Here is my prediction: A contradictory bunch of slop will pass and this issue will disappear off the board admidst high-fives and four years from now, after the regulation writers pitch regulation after regulation into the Federal Register (will you be commenting? I probably won’t), we will get a headsup that our wonderful new health system is here and here is what we must do to avoid being fined, and here is what the advantages are (if they are any) and here is what we can’t have, so sorry…etc. Done deal. Just my opinion—and I have been declared ignorant on these boards, so consider the source.
