What is the best funeral you ever attended? Tell us why
The best funeral I ever attended was for a man hundreds of cast member and guests from Disneyland only knew as Arthur. He was slow and looked like he was homeless, but he was not (he lived with his brother who was a doctor).
Except for Mondays and Tuesdays he would go to Disneyland. Years ago Disneyland was closed on those days. Arthur thought he worked at Disneyland, so those were his days off. When he would arrive at the turnstiles, a cast member would wave him on through. He is the only guest that was allowed to come into the park for free. At night Arthur would wait where the cast members exited to go home. Someone would always offer him a lift home.
Arthur would walk through Disneyland saying hi to everyone. Watch a parade down Main Street, where the young female dancers would blow him kisses.
It was a sad day when he past, it still brings tears to my eyes. I attended his funeral along with most of the Disneyland cast members. This included management who left their offices to attend this sweet person funeral.
The church was so backed, there no more room. So people were standing outside the church during the service.
MASH Star David Ogden Stiers Comes Out
I believe Larry Linville past away a few years ago. He was at one time married to Will Greer’s daughter. Will Greer - Grandpa on The Waltons and blacklisted during the 50’s witch hunt.

Have you benefited from this recession in any way?
Thanks Frannie
Hope all is well with you. Any new voice over jobs?
LIZ SMITH FLASH! Joe Biden's Bad Move
I’m assuming VP Biden’s speaking out on not going on mass transit is to avoid large groups of people. Therefore less chance of getting the swine flu.
HHHMMM, with the economy the way it is now should the VP assist in another enterprise loosing money?
Let’s see - then we should all not go to work, go shopping, eat at restaurants, go to Disney World or do any number of things to avoid people.
Mr. Biden has the right to speak his mind. However, in his position should he not be more thoughtful in the consequences before speaking.
Wouldn’t it be more affective if Mr. Biden looked for a way for everyone in the U.S. to be provided with masks and be told to wash our hands more regularly.
I guess as a child he was not told to think before speaking.
Have you benefited from this recession in any way?
I’ve been living on the edge for almost a year since being layed off. I’m making less than I did 2 years ago, my 401K is about 50% less than 2 years ago.
I’m taking money out of my savings account each month to pay all the bills. On May 30th my contract job will end or the company will be purchased. If the company is purchased most likely they will keep me on.
I’m alone, scared, trying to reinvent myself for my next job. If there is a next job.
Do you ever bet on horse races?
Years ago loved to going to Quarter horse racing. It was a lot of fun. Until one night a horse fell, the horse got up off the ground, starting running down the track with is leg swinging all over the place.
His leg was broken, it took a while for them to caught him. I could never watch a race again. I was so anxious thinking a horse would fall. I finally stopped goin.

Jesse James Is Married to Sandra Bullock, Much to Donald Trump's Surprise
Right Spring Hill, it was chili. Did Jesse James pass gas, must have missed that bit.
HHMMM what does Sandra Bullock see in Jesse James? He seems like a really nice guy, kind, caring and protective. On top of that, he is intelligent. And doesn’t seem to mind being with a powerful rich woman. What woman wouldn’t want a man like Jesse James.
Watching The Apprentice I’m very impressed with Mr. James. I believe at then end it will be either Annie and Jesse or Joan and Jesse.

Were Jacqueline Onassis and Lee Radziwill Embarrassed by 'Grey Gardens' back in the day? Lee Says 'Never'
Belinda,
Your so right about the documentary. I found it so uncomfortable to watch, but could not turn it off. I was actually quite sad at the end of the documentary.
I don’t have HBO, but hope it goes to DVD soon. I’d love to see their performances. Those of you posting about watching the HBO special, if you have not seen the documentary rent the dvd. It’s worth watching to see the mother and daughter (Beals) in their actual surroundings.
Were Jacqueline Onassis and Lee Radziwill Embarrassed by 'Grey Gardens' back in the day? Lee Says 'Never'
Thank you for the background. When watching the documentary I wondered what the family thought. Interesting to know Lee Radziwill encouraged the filming.
It’s a fascinating film to watch.
What would you do with a year's paid leave?
