OK, am I on the wrong website? People are defending Palin? The 150K is using Palin as a scapegoat. Plus it’s all about manipulating the public, look over here while Congress bails out bank, automaker, now maybe credit card companies. But we won’t give you guidelines, just take the money and do what you want. People were up in arms about Palin’s cost of clothes and the bail out. Congress gives the banks money to loan, but the banks are just sitting on the money. Now give money to automakers where management for years drove the company in the ground. These guys get billions of our money and they keep their jobs. People were up in arms about the bail out. Why is it no one is calling, writing letters to our government about this continued mess. Don’t buy Palin clothes, but if your a corporation with bad management, pass the money please.

He can’t read music, he learned by following a player piano. He would practice 10 or more hours a day. Guess that’s what dedication does, gets you a job for 35 years at Disneyland, doing what you love.

The question was “Did the Election Help or Hurt Women in Politics?” Women have been hurt by this election. The question is not necesarily directed towards Clinton or Palin. Women have gone backwards. Whether you agree or disagree with Clinton or Palin views, we as women did not stand up when sexism was brought into this race. In the case of some candidates, even women were sexist. I thought the fight was for all women, not women who only have “my” beliefs. In high school I watched “That Girl” every week; that’s who I wanted to be. Young, independent, single woman out to make something of my life. Now that I’m older, hiding the gray, moving a little slower, realizing there really is life after 30 - I’m only “That Girl” if I follow the viewpoints of others. Ms. Thomas none of this was directed at you, your character, Mrs. Emma Peel and Mary Richards gave me a vision that I could be something other than the little woman at home.

Please don’t speak for all women… “woman candidate who is on the wrong side of the issues that concern women and their families”

Ladies, Is Sarah Palin all you got out of this conversation with Tom Brokaw. Biden talked about a restaurant he goes to which hadn’t existed for years. What there are 57 states? We have a new President coming in, let’s move forward. This country is hurting enough without continuing this bashing. Tom I remember watching you on KNBC, you were the young Sarah Palin trying to play with the big boys. Snyder, Marlowe and Moyer were the big boys back then. And then there was Kelly, weather girl to newscaster, maybe she was the young Sarah Palin back then. She didn’t get much respect back then. Well, you did very well for yourself. I did not submit a question a while back when I had the opportunity. I’ve always had respect for you. Just wondering what your thoughts are of the journalists today who appear to show bias instead of reporting the news.

Great voice!!! Have you tried contacting the ladies right here at wOw? They just may have some contacts. I’m friends with some people at the Disney Studios and know a guy who knows a guy that produces or puts together Broadway recordings. I’ll see if they know someone. How do you get in the voice business? I don’t have a good voice, so no competition from me. Just curious.

Julia, I agree with you “Boston Legal”, it went a little to far. Love the show and most times agree with their point. I’ll miss the interaction and reading other viewpoints. What I will not miss is the mean spirited, name calling. If you don’t like Palin, ok we got it. But the way she was trashed was uncalled for. I’m ashamed women turned on another woman and acted like men from the past. (and even present day, a little) We now need to follow Obama and McCain’s speechs at the end. Let’s all become gracious. Well, at least for a while when we all find something else to disagree on. :)

Liz, Your so right “Campaign promises are — just promises.” But today is a great day and a new beginning for America. From Bush to Obama - we get a do over. I’m so glad this election is over, I’m tired.

Whatever side you were on isn’t it a nice feeling that in just a few months we as a country can start all over again. My guy didn’t win, but I’m looking forward in hopes of something new and wonderful for us all. I choose ‘other’ as I’m ready to support the new president. I wish President-elect Obama the best, he will need it.
