Who's the Most Persecuted Group in Iran?

Thanks for clearing that up Elizabeth.

HerTube: The Many Faces of Arab Women

Jordan is amazing, but like most countries allow you to see only what they want.

Who's the Most Persecuted Group in Iran?

I thought it was the Christians. One of the media stations, i believe it was 60 Minutes did a story on the Christians and the Town of Dora. Of which, there are no longer any Christians living in the town, and those who are still in and around worship in secret. Their families have been annihilated. I have heard of the Bahai religion, although, i do not know their origin. I believe there are practicing Bahai here in the United States.

When you're introduced to someone new, do you remember his or her name?

It is very important to remember one’s name in any introduction situation, professionally and personally. I make a special effort to put the face to the name etc.

HerTube: A Vocabulary Lesson in Congress

Pronk is certainly a new one for me. Then again, i’m not even sure i would be in the top 40 for spelling bee. lol

Message to All Whining Female Democrats: Hillary's Out. Get Over It, by Barbara Goldsmith

Absolutely get over it. The die was cast. All of the women who support the Democratic Party must either abide by the choice or vote for Mr. McCain. Hillary is a big girl, she knew what she was getting into and how the media works. Her supporters to rally around her decision to back Mr. Obama.

Do you have a physical characteristic that sets you apart and that took you ages to love? Tell us about it.

I have been told my eyes. They can be gray, blue or green, depending on the color of a blouse, tee shirt etc. It also can depend on the color of eyeshadow i’m using, when i do wear it. I love them because they are mine, and are continuing to work very well as i am approaching 60 years young.

The Greatest Salesman in the World, by Sandra McElwaine

I cant believe they still have electrolux salesmen going door to door. I only have to contend with Jehovah Witnesses who can be very persuasive. Perhaps ,that is where all the electrolux salesmen went to in my neck of the woods.

What's one thing you can't live without?

My children and grandchildren, friends, sunshine and books.

Mad Dash for Michelle Obama’s Dress

I think she looked fabulous and black and white ensemble is always a winner.

America Better Get Used To Sharing Power With Asia, by Vishakha N. Desai

Be afraid, very afraid, unfortunately ,right now,i do not see a big light at the end of the tunnel for our US of A. Our economy is in a pitiful state, outsourcing will not be stopped and technologically Asian countries are so ahead of us. For the most part, from my experience, the new immigrants, including the asian population, assimilate just enough, but their allegiance is still very much to their motherland. We educate them here and they then go back to their own countries to better serve their growth. For those whose families have been here for a few generations and are born and educated here, they keep low profiles, never stirring the pot, keeping the status quo. Politically, the asian voice here in america has and is very low. In choosing Jindal, McCain would certainly also bring something new to the table. How effective Jindal would be throughout Asia just based on his ethnicity, i dont know. I am not going to vote for my president or vice president because of their ethnicity but because i believe they can bring this US of A out of the tunnel with the brightest light of all.
