It seems like, an amazing story of an enterprising, against the odds, black woman. Young woman, black and white need more information about those women who succeeded way back when, so that they can really appreciate where we are now.

For E. Bennett- you can use any kind of sausage, pork, chicken, turkey.

A blender. Start me up and i can mix and blend with all.

baked chicken breast, sausage, cippollini onions and peppers. easy one dish meal and goes along way. clean and cut chicken breast in pieces (you can substitue other cuts of chicken also), clean and cut various colors of peppers, cut and peel cippolini onions. Place all ingredients in a baking dish, coat with vegetable oil (or olive oil), salt, pepper, garlic powder (or you can use pieces of garlic). Place in 350 degree oven and bake for 45 minutes or when peppers are soft and chicken and onions are browned. You also can add small potatoes to this dish, or sun dried tomatoes. Serve with italian bread or baquet and salad.

Marlo is spot on. Why do the news channels, including cable, seemingly report and speak down to the masses they are trying to reach. Quite frankly, i chuckle to myself. It appears they think that we can’t read between the lines or make our own decisions.

I dont think either will throw the towel in so to speak. They are fiercely competitive. Newt Gingrich pointed out this am that its just not a numerical call. Obama has more numbers but smaller states while Clinton has larger states and a smaller number but not really that much of a spread. Unfortunately, with the most recent Wright speech, i think Obama has a bigger problem and i dont think it will go away this time.

Being an empty nester for the last 5 years, I really enjoy and covet my quiet time and personal space. The subway never bothered me or walking the crowded streets of the city or shopping during the holidays which is crazy. Perhaps, because i am from a large family and lived in close proximity to both mine and husband’s family. I was always around lots of people. Since we moved and downsized, i really feel the freedom of not only personal space also time.
