Race will always be an issue in this country, specially when it comes to election time. We have people with racial marks against Obama, and of Hillary, and McCain, he’s black, a woman, and an old man. With all the candidates and I’m a true Democrate, this country does better under the hands of a Democrate. Even though Obama is a Democrate I do have to question is character due to his up bringing, not because he’s a mixed breed, but due to his step father teaching him the Muslim way, which does put a big QUESTION MARK IN MY EYE’S. I’m not judging him for his race, this is a man that was sworn in the Senate in Illinois with a Koran Bible not the Holy Bible, and he does’nt acknowledge the American flag nor does he put his hand over his heart witht he PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, which if you look up allegiance in the dictionary “LOYALTY TO ONES COUNTRY”. So to me if he can’t acknowledge our PLEDGE TO THIS COUNTRY WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO FOR US REALLY. The PASTOR’S REMARKS AREN’T AN ISSUE…………………

The products we buy are smaller and cost more or just the same. You get less for the same amount of money. Not fair for the small people, keeps the CEO’s pocket full. The employee’s of these companies aren’t getting richer either. How many of you know the cost of gas in Israel is 97 cents per gallon, compared to the 3 plus dollars we pay in the United States and other countries cost up to 6 dollars a gallon. The last time I filled my car up was two months ago, I only leave if I have errands or grocery shopping to do. I don’t own a new car and won’t. I don’t put money out on something that is going to depreciate thousands the minute I drive it off the lot. We need food and toiletries to survive and these manufactures know it. We as Americans need to figure away to say enough is enough. Why do we need all these extra products put in our foods. If we need supplemental needs then by vitamins. We’re allowing the manufactures to manipulate us and take advantage by saying this is better for you. If you need your teeth whitened go to the dentist, what happened to just plain tooth paste to keep our teeth clean, I could go on and on. I would like to hope that most of you see my point. Just stop purchasing the stuff that you can buy regular and forget all the special additives to a product. May be eventually the manufactures will stop…..

Every thing is out of control on prices. The thing that kills me is the manufactures are putting supplemental products in there products which is costing more. To cut the cost of these and if people would just purchase the supplemental product and stop these manufactures of adding it in there product would cut cost on several food items. Like Minute Maid. For Wal-Mart they kill, me I don’t see any savings there none what so ever. I have shopped at Hy Vee, and Wal-Mart the price on some varies. I can by 10 Yoplait Yogurt for 5 dollars at Hy-Vee, and Wal-Mart sells theirs for 54 cents, so I save 80 cents at Hy-Vee. I can take in my receipt from either store and purchase the same thing with coupons, and 9 times out of ten I spend more at Wal-Mart. So really were are the savings at Wal-Mart.

Dear CBW, My mother has been a widow for the same amount of time as you, she is in her late 60’s. What says any one has to be in a relationship to be validated for their beauty? My mom has gone through the same as you with grief and independence of ones self. Putting your self out there on line is a scary thing, you never know what your going to get. To find a man that only would want a relationship without intimacy is a question one can not answer. And to be fear of losing your self and your independence is where you would have to make sure if you decide to get involved with someone that you will still keep your freedom that you’ve made for yourself. No one in life should have to lose anything about them for another. In any relationship every thing should be put out on the table first thing on what you expect and what they expect if it’s not an equal agreement then there is no more to discuss. My mother spends her time with her girlfriends, travels. She say’s she is not interested in being in a relationship with another. Not of the fear of it, but with every relationship comes complications and demands, and some of those demands are easier to just say no to. If your happy with whom you are in your own skin and happy with what you’ve made of your life since your life change then just live your life the way you want it to be. Not for what others want you to do or think you should do. Yes having a relationship to fill what is missing is one answer but it’s up to you to decide if it’s the right choice for you.. It’s hard for me to share my space, I’m a private person, even being married if I feel my husband is looking around my desk for things I’m over his shoulder asking him what are you looking for. I don’t know if this stends back to when I was a child with 4 siblings, were I had to share my room with my sister, or my brothers coming in my room going through things. My mother would go through our stuff snooping, more so mine than any other sibling. My daughter is a little snoop also, she has taken clothing with out asking. Or she’ll grab some nail polish and start using it in front of me then ask if she can use it. I take it away from her, suppose she’ll just have 1 finger polished. If you want some thing from me ask, if the answer is no then it’s no. When my kids come to visit for a weekend or even a day, I’ll take my private stuff and hide it so they can’t see what I’m doing. Privacy is something we all ask for and it’s up to a friend, loved ones, to respect your wish and obey the rule you have in your house, or car.

Money what MONEY!!!. What the govenment gets with taxing this and that. Child support for women that think the man owes them instead of for the child, and won’t work. Food, Utilities, gas, pay check to pay check with the way Bush has put the economy. Any money we have left over goes into a coffee can.

I hate to be lied to and to hear a lie, it’s degrading not only to the public, but to the one telling a lie. Makes you wonder whom to believe and not believe. Has our society of politicians and people in general natural for them to lie. I didn’t do that, and you can have all the evidence right in front of your face. Makes me want to throw up…………..

We are taught as children not to lie, growing up we had to swear on the bible that we weren’t lying. Now days politicians, and social lites lie. Telling the truth and being humble is a sign of growth and evolving in ones life. If we contuie to watch politicians and social lites lie, and get away with it due to the media not being able to get the truth out of one. What are we telling our children of the future. It’s okay he did, she did, and got away with it. Who are they really protecting eventually it’s going to come out, so just tell the truth. I think most of us would rather know the truth than hear a lie, and later the truth.

I’ve been with the same man for 5 years, and newly married. He’s in the Transportation Industry. We see each other about 3-4 days a month, our conversations are by phone. We have complete trust in each other, and our LOVE is true.

I don’t believe in Valentines Day, if your truly IN LOVE, shouldn’t those days be celebrated everyday of the year instead of just one. I don’t excpect flowers or candy. If a it’s true love you find every day something special to do with each other to show your LOVE. Not just on Febuary 14th.

I was married to a man for 15 years that did have a wondering eye, I had asked him once what he was thinking when he was looking at other women. He told me he imagined what they would be like in bed. Should of ran then, he did have affairs but when confronted he denied and very defensive. One of the first signs of guilt. But then again if he continued how much guilt could he really have? Or is it just shame of getting caught????

I had been in situations of infidelity when I was younger, and figured turn a’ bouts fair game. Now that I’m 20 plus older. I have no problem telling my husband if he does he better sleep with one eye open. NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF WOMAN THAT’S BEEN SCORNED MORE THAN ONCE.
