I applaud Rep. Tauscher in having this "silly" topic repealed and having no discrimation allowed anywhere in government, including the military. Sexual preference should never ever be an issue on any subject. And, don’t forget, they are SERVING our country. Anyone in the military that is "troubled" by this has too many problems to be issued a rifle.

I agree completely. An honor guard should salute their coffins as they come home and we as a country should see the process an acknowledge the ultimate price they have paid. As I understand it, the practice was stopped a few years ago because it was shown split screen on TV with Bush making a joke. Very thoughtless, indeed.
