Commanding performance!!  And, I think most presidential historians will agree with me. I was shocked to see the choices the author of this poll gave us to select. To put it in perspective, I wonder the choices this site would have given the audience in Gettysburg after Lincoln’s Address?

I agree that Obama’s election has accelerated positive change and my hope is that our young people continue the process in our nation. But, racial and ethnic issues are a problem globally and I find it very disturbing.

This is right up there as one of the saddest stories I have ever heard.

And, just why is any of this relevant?

Phyllis, I agree. Whoopi is the best and I would love to see more of her presence  on this site. She is the best at "framing" just about any subject!

Joni, I want to thank you for taking the time and effort to join in this debate and offer your views from the other side of the coin. We are all fortunate on so many different levels so be living in this exciting age when technology is young and exciting but, at the same time, it is a challenging time and we are all learning the ramifications of all that it does entail. I have personally loved this site and it has enabled me to share, give and recieve so much knowledge and insights from women all over the country and I feel a debt of gratitude for the group of you who had the insight to know the time was right to begin WOWOWOW. All of your hard work is in evidence as this is a graphically beautiful spot that is easily used by those of us that have just come online in the last few years. This is a time of learning for us all in so many ways and we need to tackle the art of conversation so that it is meaningful and never an attempt to demean. Again, I thank all of you ladies that I so admire for taking the time and effort to make this site a reality.

Diana, I am so glad to hear that you have chosen to remain as I always love your posts and respect your opinions and the manner with which you express them. I think there are many of us who have felt a level of disappointment lately but there are just too many interesting women and a few men who have added so much enjoyment in my life to let it be ruined by the few. Those that are just spewing blather will give up and go away just as they have on other sites if they aren’t acknowledged. Love your posts, seem to agree with you on most issues, and am happy to know that I can exspect more.

You are always a voice of reason and I appreciate the fact that there many of us here that share you view and that it would just be a shame to allow an ugly few to ruin this site. I am stunned. It seems naive that atrosities of this magnitude can take place while the world sits slilently by when it would seem that it would be shouted from the rooftops. Thank you Eve and Marlo for bringing this to our attention and let us all hope that these women get the help they deserve immediately. I hope that we can recieve updates on this situation.
