Great post, Sherrie, and I am in total agreement. Our new president has made an effort to be inclusive and now should just rely on his basic shrewdness that I know is there. I loved the way he dismissed Gregg in his speech yesterday!

I agree with you completely, Diana. The Obama team has found the situation much more dire and, if we just look back a few months, we notice that our former president said NOTHING and was counting the days until returning to Texas. We are in uncharted waters globally and this is a job for our best and our brightest. But, confidence by us all, will be the means to get us to an exceptable end.

Patrice, We both share a love of big dogs. I had the funniest Afghand who loved to sing as I played the piano! Over the years, I have had two Old English Sheepdogs and many Newfoundlands. At the moment, I am sharing life with my landseer Newfy, Chester, and a Sheepdog, Lulah. Psst…I love your hair color. Mine naturally “turned” blonde a few years ago but I would like to get it even lighter…any suggestions?

I love the idea that Linda was a pioneer in the legal profession as a procecutor and is now letting us all enjoy the fruits of her labor through her writing skills. Animals are a huge part of my life and I have appreciated the insight I have gleened about all animals from the marvelous books of Temple Grandin. There is nothing that compares to the love of a dog.

Susan, I’m glad that you brought this subject up and think that we as a country need to rethink our political system and the money that is involved to even begin a political campaign and the attempts to intimidate in regarding slurs of one’s reputation. The majority voted for CHANGE but, is it even possible?

I am beginning to fear that we have lost our collective “minds” as a country and unless we grow up and pull ourselves up “by the bootstraps” we can forget being good citizens of this planet earth.

When history looks back on this era, Helen Thlomas will be remembered as a journalist who covered the White House for years with much integrity. Bill O’Reilly, if remembered at all, will be less than a wart of the ass of mankind.

Hogwash! I eat healthy, I exercise and will continue to take any vitamin that I choose. I am so over studies that take twenty women and pretend to come to a scientific conclusion on just about any subject….20% of women wearing red on any day that ends in 2 in studies show they sweat more profusely, I bet.
