Dear “By Obama Biden” there are many forms of government assistance. Food stamps are but one. Medicare, yes Medicare, is another, farm subsidies, another and generally granted to very lucrative farmers. This is a governmental subsidy paid to farmers and agribusinesses to supplement their income, manage the supply of agricultural commodities, and influence the cost and supply of such commodities. One way to qualify is to allow a field to lay fallow for a period of time then wait for the check from the government. No one questions Medicare or agricultural subsidies, who would dare? The WIC (women, infant & children) Program is one of the most successful government programs in our country. Both parties are of aware of this and most likely it will never go away because it works! You feed infants well and they do well for our economy. Poop easily runs down hill and blaming pregnant women with children who take too long in the check out stands in our grocery stores is unfortunately all to easy of a target. I hear you, but please look at everyone benefitting from handouts before you blame the less fortunate.

No purse (gasp) does that mean I am out of style? How do they manage? I for one love my bags, big bags full of stuff. I am such a good girl scout!

I hear you all but great women of the world have existed before the 21st century. In fact, the world has been here for….a long time….. and certainly before Oprah and Angelina…please. My vote across time is for Mary, the mother of Jesus, and I am not even Catholic. Following Mary it is a toss up between Joan of Arch and Helen of Troy. IMAGINE if you will the power of those women when women had virtually NO power. It was not even up for discussion. Harriet Tubman, Eleanor Roosevelt, our 1st woman President of sorts, and then all the mothers across time who raised families alone and made it! You are the most powerful and influential.

Here is the real deal: Glen, beautiful, update the hair and loose the shawl. Mary, actually she looks good. She has always been skinny and she flaunts it! Sally, loose the cap sleeves. You are gorgeous so let it shine. Oprah, I guess she can wear whatever she wants but I would have gone black or lost the tails. She chose right for her body shape however. The good news is that they all look fantastic and no one is under the age of 50. Rock on!

P.S. Greta Garbo remains so mysteriously awesome. Joan, I especially remember the slacks with envy because we females were not allowed to wear them to school! Her daring fashion statement was pivotal.
