Rachel Maddow is smart, witty, and a joy to watch. She has no audience? That is a joke…if you believe that you’ve been chasing and sniffing the FOX too long. Have you actually LISTENED to the message behind the cacophony on those FOX talk shows??? I’ve tried a few times, just to see what they were saying, and I was appalled at the lack of truth, the manipulation of truth, and the oversupply of right-wing fanatic sensationalism. No thanks.

I agree w/Ms Cooney, excellent goals…in addition I would make education possible for all…and end ethnic violence and religious wars.

Imagine even thinking GOD HATES YOU as one of the signs proclaims. I’m surprised a bolt of lightning didn’t come down from the sky and cause brain damage to the one holding it. Ohhhhhh, maybe it did!!!

I store my digital photos on CDs, and then make contact sheets (thumbnail views of each photo on the disk) for each CD and then put the contact sheets in a binder. On each CD I put a number which corresponds to the number I put on the contact sheet. It works well. I now have three binders full of contact sheets. When I get the time, I scan old photos and do the same. I have tons of real scrapbooks, but the nice thing with digital is that you can print the ones you really want to add to your paper scrapbooks.

I still laugh at the wonderful Tabasco ad which shows a mosquito sucking blood from a Tabasco-lovin’ guy, and then the mosquito flies off and explodes in the air….now that’s some “fire!” Very clever.

SHE helped make 2008 THE YEAR OF THE WOMAN? NOT!… Hillary did, but not Sarah Palin. If she ran in 2012, I would work my tail off to defeat her. She does NOT represent what I think is progress of women.

This is all a joke, right?? Haven’t we experienced enough trauma and damage from one good old boy and his malicious WH buddies; we don’t need another “good-ole-boy” in a skirt. Is the country really that masochistic? I for one, am not, and I want to see BIG changes in that WHITE HOUSE….OUR White House!! I agree. How unperceptive to compare a brilliant, accomplished woman (Hillary) with the celebrity gimmick that Sarah Palin represents. If Palin were in the WH, and I more than HOPE there is no chance for that….I would have to carry a retch pail with me if I were within earshot of her Joe Six-pack commentary. She is so ill-informed and frankly…uneducated and unworldly. Dinosaurs and man roamed the earth at the same time?

If it were the McCain campaign asking, I would say, oh thank god you finally came to your senses and realized anyone could do a better job than that lipsticked racist fanatic Palin. If it were Obama asking, I would say, no thanks Barack, you’ve got a great vp choice already. And if he can’t do it for some unforeseen reason, Hillary would be superb also.

McCain is a weasel. I also thought his opting out of the Republican convention “in sympathy for hurricane victims” was a very sneaky and disingenuous move on his part. Personally, I think he does NOT want to engage in these high profile debate and speaking events where people might actually judge him on his performance.

911 was a horrific time in American history. Nothing at all will ever make it better when you think about the lives lost and families destroyed. …And now…how is America faring? Was the creepy Osama bin Laden foretelling how we would react and thus WE would destroy the democracy we love ….from the inside? That we would abandon OUR freedoms while trying to “catch the culprits”? That we would abandon our Constitutional rights…in order to “protect” us from the likes of “another attack”…that we would torture people we accused-without-charges in order to “save us” from another attack??…that we would take prisoners to foreign countries where they could be secretly tortured without recrimination…?? that we would spy on ordinary citizens without warrants…so we could “catch terrorists”…that we would allow foreign countries to hold the threat of reducing our oil supply or raising prices which would undermine our economy?…that we would spend all our money and waste countless lives toppling a dictator who had nothing to do with the terrorists …and not have any left to build and maintain our infrastructure…our health care system, our educational system….that we would allow continual deregulation of our society to the point where unsafe foods and unsafe toys were being sold in this country….that we would ship our good jobs to foreign countries and undermine our entire middle class??? That we would allow criminal speculation in the management of home financing to the point where millions have lost their homes and the two largest lenders have been taken over by us…the TAXPAYERS…was Osama counting on this ONE-TWO punch?? Think about it.
