Who Would You Love to be in the Dark With for Earth Hour?

Thanks, Amanda - you made my day. I promise not to lead you down the wrong path. I have four children, ten grand children and 20 great-grandchildren (two are in Heaven, two more on the way.) Seems like there’s always one on the way. I have a great responsibility to be a good role model for them.

Are Those Breasts for Real?

Upanaway, Thank you for some sane comments. I totally agree.

Separate Bedrooms for Marcia and Larry

My husband and I have been married for 61 wonderful years. There’s no way I would consider separate bedrooms. We have extra rooms - they are for guests alone. We also had four children early in our marriage. I loved him then - I love him still. We will be sleeping together, enjoying each other’s company, until the Lord takes one of us home.

A Whole New Dimension to 'Dear Abby' and wOw on FOX Business Network

I found out about Wowowow through our newspaper - The St. Petersburg Times. They had a lovely article about your website and I couldn’t wait to get to my computer. What a great idea. I hope you have an abundance of blessings because of your gift to us. I log on a couple of times a day. It’s wonderful to be in touch. You go, Girls!!!

Who Would You Love to be in the Dark With for Earth Hour?

If I could, I would turn back the clock to when my children were small. My husband and I were married shortly after World War II. We had four beautiful babies in four years and five months - can you imagine four pre-schoolers? No, we were not Catholic, just madly, deliriously in love. Those were such happy years. I would dearly love to cuddle with those tiny little loved ones once again. All phases of my life have been happy, but those were really the best of all times. I am a great-grandmother many times over now.

Have you noticed rising prices? What is costing you more this month?

Donnelle, Almost every comment has mentioned the high cost of gas. Our youngest son is a long distance truck driver. It costs him $1200 every other day to fill up his truck. The paycheck is all gone before he even leaves home. Next week he is parking his truck until something positive happens. It’s really heartbreaking. Our other son has been out of work for almost two years - and he has a valuable skill to offer - he is a Heating/ventilating/air conditioning Engineer. They had to sell their home and the equity from that is very nearly gone. Their 401K is all gone. It tears my heart out. God help us!

Valerie Bertinelli on 'Losing It' AND Losing the Blinders

Jb, your husband sounds like one in a million - a real keeper. It’s a sad testimony that most men judge a woman by her physical appearance only. Oh, the joys they miss. Also, we are too hard on ourselves. My husband has always told me when I fret about an extra pound or two that he would love me no matter how much I weighed. But I wouldn’t love myself. We have to learn to love ourselves no matter what. I am happy for Valerie that she has Tom. He sounds like a keeper, too.

What are you doing for Easter?

Maryann, You are doubly blessed indeed. Welcome to the world, Baby Girl, and God bless

What are you doing for Easter?

We will be worshipping our Precious Risen Lord - without Jesus, there would be no reason to celebrate. We had a joyous week last week when our granddaughter and her husband and darling baby flew down unexpectedly from Michigan. All of our Florida family was able to accept our dinner invitation, which was rather last minute, but a wonderful get-together. My husband and I really don’t enjoy eating out on holidays, so I will prepare our meal. The money we would have spent on our dinner was sent to the Salvation Army who will be serving the homeless and anyone else in need. Wishing each one a joyous Easter!

'A Friend Stopped By' With Fannie Flagg

I am an avid reader - I read anything that doesn’t get out of my way. Fannie Flagg is a favorite of mine. I’ve read everyone of her books and each one is a delight. Many times I’ve read ‘til dawn with Fannie Flagg close to my heart.
